@goldenpharaoh nato didn’t set up shop in Ukraine. Eastern Europe CHOSE to join NATO because they fear Russia. Russia in 2022 just proved that if it’s former colonies didnt join NATO, Russia was indeed a threat to invade and will keep its colonies puppets. Cuban missile crisis is something uneducated people bring up. That was only a few years after the nuclear weapons became a thing and it wasn’t known if nuclear powers would attack each other.
