One other reason not mentioned in the video of why Jews are rich is simply for the fact that over many centuries of being given the choice to be expelled or to convert to Christianity, the poor Jews with little skill or education couldn’t afford to leave and just converted to Christianity (thus removing them from the Jewish population) the educated or skilled Jews had the means to leave and continue being Jewish.

@samharden1635 are you saying that wealth and education and culture don’t travel through generations?

@samharden1635 The emphasis on education is a lot to do with culture. "Wealth also depends, because in many of these cases, their wealth was in land, " Jewish wealth historically (at least in middle ages and early modern era) was actually in banking and trade which can be carried anywhere. That knowledge and culture of education gets passed down and those that accept or weren't capable of that knowledge and culture of education would eventually just convert to Christians.
