I’m a Latino male. I know Latino males voted Trump more than Kamala. I blame Latino men

@oddvoid English cucumber is not the standard in the US. It's "Garden Cucumbers" (also might be 'American slicing cucumber?) .English cucumber is sold at these stores but in small qty and higher price.

@pulykamell Are you American/Canadian? I'm guessing those that don't recognize this cucumber are not from North America since this is the common cucumber sold in grocery stores in NA.

@pulykamell I always find it funny how different words can be for the same food. Eggplant has like 3 names -- one of them from England and many of its colonies and then India / south asia have a different name. Cilantro is an interesting one. Officially in English it's coriader" and probably. In North America, since they didn't eat much coriander historically, it became popular from Mexican cuisine which they call it cilantro in Spanish. Though cilantro is specifically coriander leaves...the powder or ground from is still called coriander in North America. Not cilantro is very popular in the US because along with Mexican food, it's popular in Indian foods and Chinese & SE Asian foods -- all of these became very popular in the past 20 or so years.

@pulykamell I'm also from Chicago! I can see profiles on some of those making comments that it's a zucchini and a high rate do appeaer to be not from US/Canada. Not to say they all aren't from NA but it's certainly a high rate I'm seeing. Zuchichini i s used in NA, Australia, New Zealand, and much of Europe. Courgette is used much of the former British colonies that I didn't name and France & Netherlands.
