  1. They caught and beat the man but they didn’t permanently harm him. He was able to walk away and did not get arrested. They didn’t go to far. If this was the same man that robbed them 2 or 3 times before, he won’t go to that store anymore. The workers could have gone too far had the man recording didn’t get them to stop. I’d say it was just enough of a beating. The robber was still cocky enough to ask for a soda after that.
