Everyone going “that’s Horrible! Skipping over that the store called the cops cause she shoplifted. Cops went after her cause the store was pressing charges. I don’t know of any cop that is just going to go and track this person down and create work for them when there is no one pressing charges. Old people like to fight. I have seen it. The cops did not know she had dementia. Doctors don’t know by looking at people, they have to test them. Cops don’t have the time or expertise to give a dementia test on the side of the road. As for the cops making fun of the video - who wouldn’t? People do that all the time on you tube. We call them Karen’s, California created a law called the Karen law. It sucks, don’t call the TV, go to court and talk to the judge. Most judges will understand and let it go. They also put in the record that she has dementia, so the next cop that deals with her will know. This smells of a lawyer telling his client to do this to sue the city, to make money for him/herself.
