If he died from smoke inhalation, they would be at fault not the driver, even drunk. He was alive after the accident. The ability to get him out is the problem. They couldn’t. Had the door handles popped out, had the windows not been so unbreakable, they could have gotten him out. He couldn’t get out of the car. The smoke and flames killed him. Had either one of the things worked like the other cars, the man would have made it out of the car alive.
