  1. So will she be able to inherit? Most states say that the person who is involved in another persons death is not allowed to inherit from them. They cannot profit from the death.

  2. Because life in prison is not what you think it is. Even in the states, some states say life in prison is 25 years, others say 15. Life in prison doesn’t not mean your life. There is always a time attached to it. So when you hear of someone getting 25 years to life that could mean the minimum and the maximum that state allows. 25 years to 30. That’s why they also say they got a 2 or 3 life terms totaling 120 years. I watched a talk show back in the early 80’s where this guy, around 33 years old, was just out of prison after serving his full life term for killing his best friend. He explained that depending on the state, Life terms in prison is not what people think it is.
