  1. It may be that Kia was looking for his next fame in-counter. Meaning he may not have known the lawyers intentions when they met but once he did he thought that everyone would congratulate him again for getting rid of a predator. However it became clear that once the cops showed up, it didn’t go the way he thought. The reporter is holding back tears for making this guy famous, for leading him down this path. Had he just ignored the fluff piece, Kia might have had a better life.
