  1. This is a case of someone seeing a problem, studying the problem and offering a way to fix the problem. It did not cost the tax payers one cent. This is a case of “ask not what your country can do for you but, what you can do for your country” *J.F.K.. This man can work on his time to fix a solution, that was no secret to anyone, needed to be fixed. Sir, please submit your findings to other cities, I am sure have the same problems. Then again this may be a case of finding the flaw that is really paying off for the city. I mean that with his solution he may be losing the city revenue from tickets. This may be used to win traffic cases because it shows the flaw that the city knows about but refuses to fix even though there is a fix. The fine is designed so you do not go off and find other problems that the city is making money off of.

  2. The city has plans for her property. They are waiting her out till she dies. They do not want any improvements cause the clearing of her land would increase their budget. Right now with what she has is within the budget. Improvements takes them over budget and the plan is scrapped.

  3. I believe they can pass the law when it pertains to the town property- parks, streets but, when it comes to your own property they can’t. The best you can do is contact your state and county DA and have them look into this. It may be a case where the state or county has to step in to protect your rights. After all you got all the proper documentation to run the truck from them (the higher law). A town cannot take away from a state law they can only add to it. Their ban takes away from the state/county law that allows mobile restaurants. IE: Food trucks. If you do not make a formal complaint no one can investigate. A formal complaint is a paper trail that must be answered. A phone call to complain is just hear say and no one has to do anything about it. After all there is no paper trail for proof. Make the complaint, let the state or county investigate and then the state or county will inform your town council of the law. If your town council gets mad and try’s to retaliate, they can face jail time. Every citizen has the right to check their local government without fear of retaliation. The best part is it only cost you time to fill out the form.
