  1. The owner chose his words well. They do not pool tips. He probably is right. They don’t share them with anyone and put all but 20% in their pockets. So he wasn’t lying but he wasn’t telling the whole story. Just answering the question you asked and hoping you didn’t ask follow up ones that would expose his truth as a lie. Until that happens, he is not lying.
