  1. A store will not fill orders that take too much time to make for one person. If you call ahead of time they may take the order cause then they have time to fill it and service other customers without inconveniencing other customers. But if you just come in nope, too many of the staff will be needed to fill the order that other customers will not get served in a timely manner. The restaurant looks at it - it is better to lose one customer than 5 or more.

  3. The Rabbit one is a bit fishy. The airline was going to pay for the exam to see how it died. It could have been given something after the vet exam and that is what killed it. The person did t want the exam cause then they would have been found out and a lawsuit then would not be possible. The last one with the couple getting married- no one sleeps across the seats before takeoff. If someone did you just contact the crew and they will get them up or off the plan if drunk. All airlines practice the same rules as United they are just better at covering it up. At least United has full disclosure.
