Don’t let them rebuild. Make it all beach, public access from the road to the shore.

You can tell he’s done this before. He thought he would just sleep it off in jail and be released. To him it was no big deal.

@ppsdesignbuildllc4819 - actually all along the shore line there is public beach. I get that, it’s the west coast and not the east coast. And as others have said it’s a pretty small space. So what? Make all the beach public and not private. Then the public can spread out a bit more and the beaches would be enjoyable instead of being o. Top of each other in the public areas. If they want the view, dig into the cliff and on the other side of the road. Then the view from the road would not be blocked and again, the public can enjoy it.

@herb_2 - turn it into no. Building or seize it under public domain laws. Then without the homes there, everyone driving or riding a bike will get to share in the view. If no permit can be given to rebuild, the people will sell the land and move somewhere else. It’s not worth the fight.

Sounds like the woman followed them home. She knew they would be there. She choose them from the interaction they had at the store, a doctors office, at the post office.

This is nothing new. You didn’t even mention that Lori bought a ring 7 days before Chads wife died. That was used as her wedding ring. It’s been speculated that Chad is the one who ordered it using Lori’s Ex husband credit card, it was sent to Lori with a note that some say was a marriage proposal. Or that Lori went online looking for wedding dresses the day after she received the ring. Chads wife was still alive for at least another 4 days. These two planed everyone’s death so they could be together, no responsibilities, no one to spend money on but themselves. I’m sure Lori thought she was going to get money upon her ex’s death but got thwarted when he changed his policy days before and didn’t tell her. That’s why Chad upped the one on his wife. I wonder though, was there a trust fund? They were spending money like they knew more was coming in at a later date.

@ - tell that to native Americans. Tell that to people who lost their homes to the railroad, airports, freeways.
2
@ - I know. A lot of them were old sided shacks from the 50’s that turned into homes that more and more developers got a hold of as the rich wanted more privacy from the public. Now they are status symbols. Get rid of them. That way it doesn’t matter anymore, the are is open for all to enjoy the view and not beach.

@ - if it’s been cleared for the homes, the beaches are probably a lot better. Either way, if no one lived along the beach there it would be an unobstructed view along the road and would be great to maybe widen the road and have a really wide bike lane there as well. Park benches even running lanes with the beach on one side it would be peaceful.

@ - loopholes and people saying the high and low tides are different and so they can build there. While arguing the point they built and then the powers that be just threw up their hands and let it go.

@ - yep

@ - you don’t live in the west coast do you? All beaches are public access and free. All

Don’t release any information. That way the person can’t claim bias when convicted to get a retrial.

Good thing the cop was right there. The kid should have been arrested for reckless driving. He didn’t have to go 40 in the parking lot. All he would have had to do was not stop, do a rolling stop at 10/15 mph and the cop could have stopped him. The speeding he did was criminal. If the school was in on it, then they hold partial blame but should not be on the hook for the full amount.
