  1. Good god, yes you can have cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, etc. at college. It’s a stressful environment not just from the course work, but also in trying to make connections with others. A non-human connection can help students to be more at peace so they can focus on their course work. They can go to class, be happy in the knowledge that someone is waiting for them to finish learning new stuff, and they live their days with more mental balance. Jfc, why is this an argument? The only ones against this are just jealous that other people have sought to have their non-human fam with them.
