  1. Why are we trashing this planet to go to another one that has no guarantee of facilitating life? Why do we have to destroy this place that’s already amazing, and could be so much better if the Mars colonization funding went toward actual humanitarian endeavors. Food, irrigation, water purification, clean renewable energy, education, medicine… But no, billionaires want to pretend to be sci-fi idols.
