They either don't know about his crimes, or they're ok with him committing them. They're choosing to ignore their own knowledge when they believe things like, "The sound of windmills causes cancer."   10. Good for her. I can’t stand to watch videos about people whose income is based on their existence. I hate that it’s a thing, and I won’t shame cam-girls, nude models, or sex-workers, but when such people feel “lonely,” I can’t feel sympathy. People would pay their rent to those people just to be in their presence. They’ll never know what it’s like to actually long for someone just to look at them like they’re human.

  13. How tf are diapers still sold? Any baby product. How? When it has that “baby smell,” how? It’s like… airborne rubber-dust… it’s sickening, it’s almost solid despite being fumes. How can anyone like that smell? Diapers, blankets, wraps, powder, oil… The texture is nasty. It’s puffy, it crumples, it crinkles… It’s 2022. If you need one, companies should be able to make them with stealth in mind. Let me be clear, I’m not shaming the people who do this. This is specifically about the smell of products, and by extension, the feel of diapers. Companies need to fix this shit.

We think safety is knowing we can kill someone at the curl of a finger, and we expect everyone to want to do that to us. We are a shithole country. And that’s before the red tape.

  15. Maaaaan, I really miss Fringes. This was some of the best documentary filmmaking I've ever seen, especially the suicide forest one. It showed such a different facet of life than what everything else shows. It's an odd, peculiar, mysterious, and wondrous presentation that some jackass at Vice didn't think was any good.

Instead of just uploading footage of this freedom out to the internet and states that are less free than where this takes place, why not remind viewers in states that aren't free, we need to tell our legislatures to legalize it, or else they won't. VICE, please stop neglecting your viewers who currently live in places where we are not free in the United States.

  18. There’s so much micro-artifacting, I don’t see how people get tricked by deep-fakes. The behavior is different, too. It’s like people don’t know what it means to know someone else. The deep fake of Obama was pitiful, and I want to slap people who fell for it. The lips were moving, but the cheeks weren’t. It was like watching a jibjab cartoon from 2004. The texture of his skin was horribly uniform while grainy… seriously, intoxicated pelosi? You can hear the sound get distorted. Drunk people are still pushing the same amount of air out when they slur, they don’t get croaky because of sound waves being stretched over a longer duration. There’s pixelation around the face, and all it takes to see that is a decent enough resolution. Efforts to stop deep-fakes should keep going. But people should also be smarter and more observant of the things they’re looking at. It’s truly embarrassing. I’m not a god, I even wear glasses. There are people with better vision than me, who can’t see how obvious deep-fakes are.
