The people protesting are not ordinary people, its a mixture of the labor union, leftist civic groups , professional paid protesters and spies in Korea. Also most of the news and press leans toward the left so there are alot of fake news. Many people do have negative thoughts about Martial Law but once you know the reason you gradually understand why the president had to it.
