Kharkiv city wasn't captured , yes (either Kiyv) - I mean the escape not long before the withdawal from Kherson (area) There are places like Vovchansk that were taken by Russians and then retaken (partly) by Ukrainians - no negotiations.

  32.  @vbite2685  I understand if you cross the boarder with forces that less numerous than the force of the defensor, you count for a walk (easy and quick victory), not fight (then you'd need 2:1 , or even more advantage, according to the military doctrine of RF)

  33.  @vbite2685  The other one, I think all 3 of us speak about the same, more or less Russia like Ukraine ofcourse have more servicemen, but cannot deploy them to the front of fighting: policemen have to in their cities/towns/oblast, board guard - at the boarders, also of friendly EU countries, 24/7, some soldiers at the boarders of BY or Transnistria, although there's no fighting there. The same for RF (conscripts are excluded)

It looks the development is at least not good for Russia as recently there was a change in the area commander position (gen. Teplinsky(?)) But you can listen to APN yourself.
