  43.  @ragnardunderdase3473  The transformation from the Soviet era into NATO standard armament has been in the process for some time, the question of decision (the infamous red lines). Russia has the same problem, but replaces T-72s for T-62s , not very perspective (see APCs) Population - important, but for some reason Putin avoids massive mobilisation what APN indicates, also , think about the surface of the country and what that scale requires.

Stalin is (co)responsible for creating 'the conditions' ? eg he killed more civilians (Russians among them, if you care, but he didn't) before, during, and after the war(s)?
