The silence is really creepy, same as the silence on the Afghan papers

it is nice to hear reasonable people sometimes.

Politicians lie, cheat and steal. Pretending these two sides are different is just a distraction.

Is anybody on the ground there? Do we know how much fighting there has actually been outside of Kentucky ?
10
Swamp accusing the Swamp of being Swampy. This crap is just deigned to keep us busy while they bomb, murder and extort.

Why are there so many despotic regimes in that region?
7
Nobody believes in rights because they don’t exist.
6
Bizarro world, crazy how the narratives on trump and Russia are so different than reality.
5
@rrozoff1 As reported by CBS news?
4
@rrozoff1 I am depressed now.
3
@johndifrancisco3642 Maybe, but if you look hard you can find it. probably better than the good old days of network news only.

I think it was the fault of the British royal family

This dude is a clueless idiot. Having him on discredits your channel.

She is still be ridiculed for cancelling student debt.

0:15 progressives don’t have values. They have wish lists.
2
Even smart lefties can’t help but see the racist boogie man behind every movement they disagree with . Trumps reactionary base? Sure. How about the democratic reactionary base? Smearing everybody they don’t agree with with whatever “ism” seems to fit. I don’t see a difference here.
2
@richardruss7481 you are correct.
2
Like it or not, this might actually be their last chance for a "peace plan".

All foreign relations is bribery. No news here.
1
Milan Knezevic we have been hearing so much about atrocities against the Kurds but I just can figure out the scale of events.

Right wing non democratic protestors. What makes them non democratic?

aj b " we asked some people about the camps and they said they didn't believe it" "we looked around the city and there wasn't any" Good level headed reporting? I guess, just shallow. A lot of really good reporting has been done on those camps. I need more than we asked around and if that is all you got than you got nothing.
1
You guys are socialists right? Don’t people around the world have a right to that lithium? It may sound like I’m joking but I am sort of serious.
1
linda green isn't it humanities resource?
1
@travisbiko8990 Nobody would defend somebody cutting of the water to a country off because the river goes through your country first, right? Wouldn't that be immoral? Well. If the people in another country need lithium to build electric cars so that they can improve the environment for everybody don't they have some right that material, just like the water? We live in a world in which people are saying advanced medical technology is a human right. Why isn't access to environment saving batteries a human right?
1
Bill Mcknight I personally don’t believe in human rights, so no, I don’t think we have the right to anything. I do think that resources are valuable and that powerful interests will do what is needed to secure them. Strangely, many of the people who disagree with this kind of behavior don’t realize how much it supports their life. My point here is, leftists believe in involuntary taxation for the benefit of others. Why should borders be a barrier to this kind of behavior?

Those leaks are hilarious. Turns out nobody likes Corbyn. Not very surprising really.
1
@dinnerwithfranklin "Hard right labour member", that is sort of a silly statement. I guess the overwhelming evidence makes me say "nobody" likes Corbyn. These internal documents show his party doesn't like him, the opposing parties don't like him, the media isn't super supportive, the electorate didn't seem to like him much either. Obviously he has some support but a lot less than progressives imagine.
1
@dinnerwithfranklin The term "hard right" and "labour" just sounded funny together. Huge forces are always working against insurgent candidates. He almost converted his insurgency into power but fell short. Would it have been different if people didn't smear him? Yes. But that is not that interesting of an observation. All insurgent movements face enemy propaganda and establishment cheating. I think if Corbyn supported brexit he probably could have won. I imagine you might say that the people would never have voted for brexit if the election was fair or the media was better or some other excuse. Politics has never been and will never be clean, fair or nice. It is a nasty game, he needed to strong but he was weak, just like Bernie. Who's fault is that? Why are these progressive leaders so weak?

I don’t like news readers. If you can’t speak off the top of your head on a topic then I don’t know why I would listen.
1
Some guy says he is a hero? Big woop.

Enemy of my enemy is my friend is not always true.

I hope AMAZON fires them all and replaces them with people thankful to have a job.
1
6:00 Max blames craigslist for the fall of small newspapers? I guess that is true but it’s not some kind of conspiracy. Craigslist was just a lot better than the falsified sections. Print journalism died because it was a dinosaur. No reason to be salty about it.
1
This is amazing. The DNC is a joke. Shadow Inc? Ridiculous.
1
I do not understand how a bunch of grown ups are so excited about censorship right now.
1
I don’t think your capable of analyzing these actions , I suspect that you would automatically denounce any bombing by Israel.
1
13:40 people have no economic rights? I don’t know what Max means when he says this. What economic rights do people not have?

Sam they believed in god given rights

Interesting to see this conversation. Talking details is interesting but in the end the real argument is about a nations right to intervene in another nations affairs.

these dudes r such commies

Kato Lee I watched the video. It seems like he is suggesting they exist because Israel supports them. It does seem that Israel supports some of them but certainly not all of them. They are in opposition to many of them as well. It doesn't seem like his explanation holds up. What do you think?
1
Mehran Kazemi I think your sum up sounds about right. I want the west to leave the Middle East alone. I am hopeful that it can find a way to repair the damage from the last 100 years. It would be interesting to see what kinds of governments would form. Natural resources have been a curse for many countries.
1
Kato Lee , OK ;)
1
StealieSteve , I am not sure they prefer dictatorships absolutely but they are willing to support them if it is strategically helpful.

7:50, do you mean the kind of economics that have made Chile a rich and nice place to live? Those seem like pretty good economics to me .
