  2.  Kato Lee  I watched the video. It seems like he is suggesting they exist because Israel supports them. It does seem that Israel supports some of them but certainly not all of them. They are in opposition to many of them as well. It doesn't seem like his explanation holds up. What do you think?

  3. Mehran Kazemi I think your sum up sounds about right. I want the west to leave the Middle East alone. I am hopeful that it can find a way to repair the damage from the last 100 years. It would be interesting to see what kinds of governments would form. Natural resources have been a curse for many countries.

  5. StealieSteve , I am not sure they prefer dictatorships absolutely but they are willing to support them if it is strategically helpful.
