  3.  @travisbiko8990  Nobody would defend somebody cutting of the water to a country off because the river goes through your country first, right? Wouldn't that be immoral? Well. If the people in another country need lithium to build electric cars so that they can improve the environment for everybody don't they have some right that material, just like the water? We live in a world in which people are saying advanced medical technology is a human right. Why isn't access to environment saving batteries a human right?

  4. Bill Mcknight I personally don’t believe in human rights, so no, I don’t think we have the right to anything. I do think that resources are valuable and that powerful interests will do what is needed to secure them. Strangely, many of the people who disagree with this kind of behavior don’t realize how much it supports their life. My point here is, leftists believe in involuntary taxation for the benefit of others. Why should borders be a barrier to this kind of behavior?
