  2. I think the challenge of “truth serving life” is an interesting conjecture. I do not think you have dismissed it fully. We have no access to truth, it is always nested inside metaphorical truth. We have no outside perspective. We have intersubjective truth but it is still beholden to culture. I think he nests it because he thinks how facts effect people is more important. Looking at the world this way is very confusing though.
