  1. Yes, the ancestor needs to have not renounced their citizenship anywhere else and you need all the documents to prove births and marriages (and divorces, if applicable).

  2. Not currently, in 2024 dual citizenship became allowed so you no longer have to give it up.

  3.  @pat3khenry  You will need a lot. Ancestry is a good place to start. Birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc
