  1. It's a sad situation for everyone involved considering he was so young. He should never be released, but he is obviously not getting proper mental health care in prison. Still the same voices/urges after 25 years? And where were his advisors to help him prepare to not say things that would sabotage his chances? You could tell his mental capacity was not there to know that he shouldn't have been saying some of those things. It is what it is.

  2. It probably is sadly, prison environment probably rots your brain and most people aren't very intelligent to being with.

It's hard to tell what he was talking about, because as someone with OCD part of me got the impression he was talking about intrusive OCD thoughts/urges and he was just describing them as "voices". But some people do really do get audible hallucinations that sound like they're coming from somewhere else. No way to know in his case
