  3. I agree, he was either possessed when he killed and that's why he has no memory and is now a completely different soft spoken person, or he's not a manipulative psychopath and is just sick with a bizarre compulsion.

  5. He was very different from other famous serial killers. He's the only one who doesn't try to manipulate interviews and he doesn't put on a totally fake and creepy charming front. I don't believe he was a clinical psychopath who did it because he wanted to hurt people. He just was born with a strange and uncontrollable obsession and fascination with insides and dead bodies. He was sick.

Obviously he was an extremely sick and disturbed person but idk something about him makes me sorry for him, he's different from other serial killers because he wasn't sadistic he didn't enjoy killing or torture he did it because he had a compulsion with insides and bodies. And in all the footage of him he always looks so lifeless, defeated and sad.

Secondly he did admit he knew he didn't feel "normal" empathy in certain situations he should have. He was not trying to blame his actions on a disorder, he said it was all his fault. He was trying to find answers for why he was the way he was.

  19. He actually never killed animals, he always used road kill. I agree he was different from any other serial killers, he wasn't a sadist who enjoyed hurting poeple. He did it out of his obsession/fetish with insides that got extremely carried away.

  21. I’ve read lots of similar accounts about him and how he was funny and a model inmate who was on his way to medium security for good behavior. Just more proof that he was actually a good person who wanted to die for what he did and he was suffering from a sickness

  30. Jeffrey's killer didn't make that claim about the food until much later when he was trying to get a book deal. Officers said he was a good inmate who kept to himself and was on his way to medium security, they called Scarver "just a stone cold killer"

  31. His alcohol abuse played a huge part in it. It created the disinhibition, opened the doors for it to happen. The rest of the cause was his mother on dangerous medications while she was pregnant with him. That is what tweaked his brain in the first place.

  43. But he was intelligent, he had a 145 IQ. Listen to his final statement he wrote, he was very articulate. No one is saying what he did was ok it was inexcusable but he is the most misunderstood serial killer and was actually a tortured good person deep down.
