  2. This would never work. Because of the spinal cord alone. If we can't repair spinal cords on normal individuals, what makes him think he could completely severe one and re-attach it? Not to mention all the side effects and complications, physical and mental, if they actually could make it work. And then there's ethics. He's living in a delusional fantasy land and his mental health is concerning.
