  1. I'm 38, never even married. I was strung along by an immature marriage phobic man for 13 years who used to be my best friend. He was the sweetest man, but over time and once the prospect of marriage started he turned into a monster, all while blaming all of his moods and everything on me. The empathy disappeared. Sometimes I question if it was CTE since he used to be a hockey player. He turned into someone I don't know. Just mean. I couldn't bring that up either or he'd stonewall me for days and get offended about that too. And accuse me of having no idea what I'm talking about. I'm so emotionally hurt beyond words can express from this grief, loss, and so many other things. I have no idea where to go or what the future holds. I know that a childless future is probably ahead of me unless I adopt. And tbh I have zero interest in another partner after this.
