  3. Honestly it's not even worth conversing with these people. They are there for the paycheck and they checked out mentally a long time ago. Don't even waste your time with back and forth appointments trying their nonsense treatments to "see how you do" if you know if your gut something is seriously wrong. Just flat out ask for an MRI. Jokingly tell them you'll pay in cash if you have to, or tell them you're unsure but a family member keeps urging you to get one - they're so inept you have to play mind games with them. NEVER tell them you think you have a certain disease or their ego will take over and they will insist you're wrong and tell you you don't need testing. Their minds can never let a lowely patient and Dr. Google be right over their superior knowledge. Again, always approach it as "I'm sure she's overreacting, but my sister wanted me to ask about the possibility of cancer." Then when you get your MRI report, ALWAYS pay for an unbiased second opinion, because unfortunately radiologists are just as bad.
