  1. “Slaves OR servants”… that was my first thought..how do they know the people who lived here were slaves? Seems they assumed since the conditons were bad, but even today low status workers can be boarded up in poor conditions, certainly doesn’t make them slaves, what a stupid assumption. Yet all headlines are saying “slave room” lol
