  2. Yes, there are always external and internal forces of varying types INFLUENCING us and the world around us at all times. However, that does not in any way mean that those forces are what are making our decisions/thoughts for us and that we have "no free will" or the ability to make our own choices and to choose right from wrong. Extreme reaching and frankly it sounds intentionally antagonistic. I've seen this professor before, I think he likes to try to stay relevant.
