The anount of abject dishonesty and misinformarion in this video is astonishing. The year over year numbers are used to account for SEASONALITY. Prices ALWAYS soften a bit in the fall and winter, which is why nobody is comparing prices from summer of 2022 to the winter of 2023. 🙄 But lets be clear- prices went UP about 10% last year and will be UP about another 4-5% this year. Meanwhile the average renter will be DOWN about another 25k in rent to their landlord. Why anybody listens to you is beyond me.

Dumb. Paying a tax on something doesn't mean you don't own it. Do you not own your groceries since you pay sales tax on it ? Do you know what you really don't own ? That apartment you're renting.

Factor in a 5% a year increase in rent over a 30 year period and rhe amount in rent paid is actually over a million.

Wrong. You get principal reduction starting with the first payment. You also get the appreciation in value, tax deductions, etc. How much of that are you getting from renting? How "underwater" will you be to your landlord in 15 years?

He was advocating forever renting while he himself bought a condo in Miami last year. He doesn't actually believe any of the drjvel.he says. He pays his mortgage with these videos.
