@xkaliburr9 No, the bible is a collection of stories, written by people, retelling what they have heard and read in second, third, fourth and thousand person. Big difference. Some stories have old origins, some are very modern. No story in the bible was written by an eye witness. None, and especially not the rewrite you are calling ‘the” bible. “The” bible does not exist. There never were “A” bible. Every version available is tampered and adapted in one way or another. The stories in the bible are a selection of stories compiled to fit a narrative. Stories picked and post produced over time. All the stories that did not fit were just omitted. That includes so called “prophecies”. The so called “prophecies” commonly used as an validation of the bible as a whole are picked, revised and flat out post constructed to fit a narrative. “Prophecies” that were just wrong were just thrown away. In that way it ‘seems’ the people who wrote the book had knowledge, knowledge they of course did not have. There might be stories that describes parts of history, but they are rendered near to completely useless due to the inclusion of pure fantasy and flat out lies. We have better methods to research history. As a document over human superstition and religious psychology the bible are granted some credit, but again there are other ways to research and understanding that.
I know that you believe your imaginary friends are real, but that does not make them real. People believing unicorns exist does not pop unicorns into existence. Sorry, but that is about it. You can claim your gods love you and me and I can claim potatoes hates us. It means nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even when we know potatoes exist.
We have no evidence whatsoever of any gods creating anything. And no, life did not ‘create’ itself. Your disability to get passed the fantasy of ‘creation’ does not mean ‘creation’. We have no evidence for any creators, designers or gods. None whatsoever. We have evidence for a lot if things and we found new evidence every day. But after thousands upon thousand of years of discovery, no gods have ever been found, anywhere.
All you have to do is to prove your gods. That’s it. So why don’t you.
I’m awaiting your excuses.

@black2324 No, you calling a tree evidence for gods does not mean gods exist, not at all.
No, me accepting that your gods made the tree does not mean your gods made the tree, not at all.
No, something seeming complex to you, everybody or some does not mean gods were involved, not at all.
Assuming gods did everything you do not understand is absurd, yes.
No, belief in gods is not a more scientific hypothesis than any other explanation, not at all. People said that about thunder. Again, you not understanding something does not mean gods did it. That goes for thunder, earth, life, our universe, everything. And a belief can never be science, no never. Science is based upon evidence, not beliefs.
No, it is not mathematically impossible, not at all. Best proof is that it happened. You do not know the parameters to make that conclusion. You have no idea how many tries life had prior to be sustained.
No, 85% of the world does not believe in your gods. In reality you are the only one believing in your gods. People believe in many very different things. The ones believing somewhat the same way as you do are few in comparison to those that disagree with you. You created your own very personal gods using what you have been told, what you have read, what you have heard, what you like, what you want and what you just decided your gods are. No one believes in your exact gods, no one but you.
No, believing in gods have nothing to do with common sense. That’s what people who believed gods made thunder said. “What else could it be?” Right? No. Believing in gods is denying facts and being ignorant. Gods exists within the human mind because of wants, wishes and fear. That’s the common sense and we have evidence for it,
I do not have to prove that your gods exist. You have to prove they do. So why don’t you? You would be the first one to do it, do why don’t you? (Insert random excuse here).
And of course you have to end with the good old threat of eternal torment. This, if anything proves what you are all about. This is the best evidence there are as to why people like you need your gods.
Yes, you are free to believe whatever you want. No, you are not free to claim you have any truth regarding your claims, until you have demonstrated them to actually be true. And NO, absolutely NOT are you free to threaten people that does not believe as you do with eternal torment or anything else. That makes you a criminal and believe me, the time will come when people like you will be held responsible for it.
Do I think you can be a christian and a good person at the same time? No, sorry I do not. If you are a good person you are not a very good christian. Sorry. I’m totally open to change my mind but so far your kind have been more than eager to prove to me that I’m right. So far.
