  1. How did they figure out the rubbing two sticks together part? That is pretty advanced. Banking rocks together making sparks I can understand but the rubbing part, again, that is pretty darn advanced.

  2. Well it really does not matter. Could as well be a byproduct of toolmaking. Thinking about how they figured out that rubbing two sticks together FOR A LONG TIME makes fire is more interesting.
