  1. Give me a break. Al Jezeera has been banned in Egypt and several other mid East countries for bias and incitement to hatred. It's a sham that it's not banned in North America.   24. The only problem with this approach is not explicitly recognizIng it is a forever war. The cartels have unlimited money and the Soviets etc will be happy to endlessly arm them to destabilize the west. Which is a watered down version of another forever war, that with islamist conquest. Which also has long been directed by soviet funding/arming/incitement. However the cartels will continue to grow in power and reach if nothing is done. As will islamists. So the west has no choice really, these are wars that are coming to us, not the other way around. But it's important to recognize what it means- an endless financial and military commitment

  38. Preston your concern for US personel is justified and way underspoken. Bidens policy has been a disaster, incentivising anti American strikes while simply puting more bodies in harms way. Your punctuating how pakistan deterred Iran was BANG on the money. General Jack Keane talks about this as well. Youre both absolutely right. I seriously hope some Generals kick the door in at the White House and get their voices heard before the US finds itself in a major war that truly could have been avoided. Alternately, if its going to get involved they NEED to consider deposing the Ayetollahs, for the good of the globe- form a coalition of the willing or just let Israel do it. But it NEEDS to get done anyway, and before they achieve nuclear capacity. Either straighten out US responses to back Iran off and protect allied servicemen, or jump in and remove the worlds problem once and for all.   40. I'm disgusted by the response and failure of the West towards Ukraine and Israel. The West is finished unless something drastic changes. If so, it will have given it all away for nothing. What can be said about a population that fails to prosecute grooming gangs after the rape of its underage daughters for fear of being called racist? It's long been over then, we're just running down the clock now and watching it all slip away. Its disgusting, tragic beyond compare. I hope something quickly changes but looking around I don't see where it will come from, I don't see any quarter or institution that hasn't already been conquered. I hope for the best.
