  10. Worse still. That buildup happened in Gernany. Though violent antisemitism was common in other places then it wasnt an uniformly ubiquitous global experience then. There were large numbers of people in western society who still posessed rational sanity, such that they were revolted to discover what had been happening. Thats no longer the case it seems, except for a very small minority who at the moment dont seem to have the balance of social and political clout. Extremely dangerous.

  16. ​@MomoMomoyan That money is just a subsidy to US weapons manufacturers. Israel is required to spend 75%on US weapons. For that, they are restricted from making competing products and they forward all research and development back to the states to improve US weapons. It's a good deal for all..

  22. You have my highest respect. I agree. Nobody wants to do it. Everybody's tired, worn out and broke. But if nobody takes the ayetollahs out this will only get worse and shortly they will be nuclear armed.(possibly another reason for this attack- while Israel had its hands full they can enrich more or sneak other stuff past them.) The time is now. All the west should just get it over with. And as you said it's what the people of Iran want, and I personally know this to be true. I hope it happens or I fear the future.

  23. How, moron? Theyve offered a state 4 separate times, and been refused each time along with waves of violence. Egypt and Jordan refused to repatriate these people after losing the land in the wars they started. (And didnt offer them a state when occuping them.) Israel pulled out of Gaza unilaterally and in effect GAVE them a state for 19 years. The result from the start was nothing but violence, hence the blockade, culminating in the brutality of Oct 7th. They could have had a paradise in there with the Mediterranean and all the billions they were given; instead they turned it into a bunker and their leaders oppressed and starved and stole from their people. So what else would you like Israel to be responsible for, Mr. West? How much more would you like to blame them for? Why dont you take the history into account and offer a solution then, instead of making ridiculous statements like that? Idiot.

  49. It won't 'get' other countries involved. Iran and its proxies are always looking for opportunities. They created this mess and started this to begin with. They need to be taken out, really. A regime change. The whole west has to buck up and get it done, even though everyones worn out and broke. They'll soon have nuclear weapons and then it will be too late. Their own people are ready to revolt given the opportunity. The Saudis would back the west if it did it and it would resume talks with Israel with Iran out of the picture Now's the best time. If a single Israeli enters a US coalition its entire Arab contingent will revolt. That's why it doesn't. It HAS provided what is (usually) the best intelligence in the world, extremely high quality weapons upgrades and endless opportunity for in theatre testing and development, plus world class cyber, AI, medicine, and agriculture. Plus you store loads of military stuff there safely without charge, and it's cheaper than a carrier group permanently stationed in the Mediterranean. And they share your values and love of freedom. And they're just good people.
