With few exceptions, you can see why theres no peace with these people. At least they were honest. I wonder what the ratios are of people who can cohabitate vs those who will always refuse. Its sad and awful.

Other way around. Oslo was a way for Arafat to convince the west he was peaceful and actually interested in a state, and using that to twist the narrative against Israel when things didn't materialize which he never anyway planned to allow.

@Zer-o-ne nobody seized anything. Gaza and Judea were won during defensive warfare when Israel was set upon by three neighbors. Israel offered Judea back for peace, it was refused. Egypt took sinai back for peace but neither would repopulate those people, formerly Jordanians and Egyptians. Neither Jordan nor Egypt offered them a state while occupying them nor citizenship and they never asked. Israel has offered them a state on 4 occasions, refused every time. Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza. They could have turned it into a Mediterranean paradise but instead used it as a base to fire rockets. Voted for Hamas who took the billions in international aid and turned the whole place into a giant military bunker (that vote was partially a protest against Arafats corruption. They had very poor choices. Then partially that's because anybody who actually wanted peace and coexistence would be killed before they had the chance to lead. And then THATs partially because the Palestinians themselves were being weaponized intentionally by the Soviets to destroy Israel- they groomed and installed Arafat to do so in 1964, three years BEFORE the Israeli occupation) That's the history. Nobody seized anything.

@rennyskiathitis8178 but maybe a move back to that would be seen as improvement now. I don't think they'd be able to travel through Israel given their hatreds. I think once they remerge with Egypt and Jordan they can travel there instead, and shut the border to Israel completely. Egypt doesn't appear to want anything to do with them and Jordan had their fill when Arafat tried to assassinate king Hussein in 72, but it's clearly being left with Israel to create a public relations disaster for Israel as well as to destabilize it, as the Soviet backers of Arafat had intended. So much suffering for nothing, what a waste.

@NarcixQc so a Saudi can comment favourably toward Israel and Jews but you couldn't manage to? Shame on you and your groupthink.
7
None of the commenters seem to be aware both Jews and arabs were offered a state. The Israelis accepted, the Arabs didn't, and launched a war they lost. And then again and again. Israel has the right to be there. If the Arabs never accept a state they will always be in limbo. It's a self inflicted wound.

Yes she was great. I wish Corey had reminded her that the borders with Israel were open from 67 until the second Antifada, that they are only closed to prevent suicide bombers. And ask her for a solution to that. If she could solve that problem the borders could be reopened and the Palestinians would have work again inside Israel. Among other things. Yes she was great.
6
@Myamirah the Palestinians have been offered a state of their own on 5 occasions and have said no each time- often violently. They'd long ago have had a state and self governance had they accepted it. Otherwise I agree with you. Take care.
6
@mazenalawar2753 there were no checkpoints before the mass violence. You reap what you sew.

One love Brother.
4
Youre not an Israeli.
3
God Bless you Sir. Salam Alaikum.
3
These people are completely brainwashed. Its horrifying.
3
Theyre totally brainwashed. This will never end.
3
I wish these people would do outreach to their brothers in the territories. They are all commendably open, flexible and appreciative.
3
@rb49352 Zionist blah blah blah. There we go. That's the real you right there. True story or not? Who knows. Given how you are, who cares.
3
@MatiasNilson-r8i ??? You feeling alright?
3
@Puleczech if only they'd ever accept it. You can hear them, they only want Israel out, it's been more important than a state of their own. I don't see how you can solve this then.
3
These comments are ridiculous.

If you find yourself being overly amped about Israel there's a good chance it's because part of you is following the crowd. That may be why you became interested in the first place. You're not alone, it's a global obsession unfortunately. Disentangle yourself, and become free of unnecessary hatred and outrage. Best of luck to you.
2
So what would you have said? A geneticist would know, everybody else is just guessing.
2
What happened to my post with the link to the essay "The Arafat I Know"? Why was it removed?
2
@yoops66 thank you for explaining that. The article I posted backs up your points, not the opposite. It's like whack a mole here on YouTube when it comes to Israel, and given how many young people 'educate' themselves here it's a real problem with serious future consequences. Thanks for fighting the good fight.

The Palestinians that have been abroad come complete with structured anti Israel propeganda and they teach it to native Palestinians to spout out at times like this. Everything for the cause, except truth. It's horrible. What they all believe about Israelis makes respect and peace most unlikely. About the others, you can see why peace will never happen. what they think of Zionism is totally backward. None care or sem to know they were both offered a state of their own. The Palestinians feel it's all theirs and always was, and must be again. Peace is impossible with these people. This will never end, it will just get increasingly worse forever.
2
They were all honest.
2
I feel sorry for the reasonable ones. They suffer for the hate of the others but dont deserve it. And theres no way to rectify it, the hate and misunderstanding is so pervasive that there will never be a solution.
2
Great episode Corey
2
You're jumping to conclusions. Israel is very multi ethnic, people mix all over the place.
2
@paakwesiprosale what do Europeans have to do with generalized racism? Or to a comment about life in Israel? You think only Europeans are racist? Where are you from?
2
@YotamAlbalach exactly. Good post. Also your avatar- that's a great record!
2
It's horrifying how misled and indoctrinated so many of them are, ie its all their land,Zionists dont belong, are from Europe and kill Palestinians, etc. It's shocking how unwilling to make peace or accept Israel under any circumstances most of them are. Its chilling that they smile and are so sweet as they tell you its all their land and there can never be peace or coexistence. This will never end while almost any of them remain alive. Israel might as well shove them all into Jordan, just kick them all out. That would be horrible for many years but when they finally settle and pass a few generations they'll finally have themselves a state and nobody left to blame. They couldnt be more miserable than they are now. At least they'd finally be forced to settle on a solution.
2
@Nehmi Sephardi are not white. Who gives a shit anyway?
1
Taqqiya from a white westerner. You should be ashamed.
1
@Seanonyoutube yes please. Meanwhile I'm going to ask my Israeli friends what the hell you're talking about.
1
@Seanonyoutube and I'll confirm it how? Nice ploy
1
You'll be fine. A quarter of the population are Arabs and of those a good deal of them are Muslims. Anyone can travel to Israel. If you have an Israeli stamp on your passport you won't be allowed into many Arab or Muslim countries afterward however.
1
These people are completely brainwashed. Its horrible.
1
Bullshit.
1
It's a trick question meant to manipulate the perception. Most violence by far is perpetrated by palestinians against Israelis. By far
1
@kaus3587 EXACTLY. And currently things are a disaster in this regard, as with so much else in the West.
1
Yes to both.
1
@Sonia-jk7lf look in the mirror. You're a hateful person.
1
@inagordan4589 Depends how far back you go. The Arabs came through in 680, so before that the Palestinians don't.
1
@asdanahohi749 Israel IS our grandfather's country. The Arabs would have their own home if they accepted it, and if they did anything other then blow stuff up. Sadly that's the course theyve chosen over and over. I'm glad you prevailed over the Houthis. Maybe you could cut Israel some slack then.
1
To all the North Americans, jump to 9:10. Your answer is here.
1
Who is educating these people to believe that all the land is theirs? Especially aftet all the wars they started and lost? Its crazy, and it will never end.
1
KGB general ion Mihai Pacepa defected and wrote about the effort the Soviets made to weaponize these people. Yassir Arafat was a creation and asset of the KGB and his mission was to radicalize these people and use them to further soviet objectives. The arab league, hateful as it was, was happy to oblige and use these arabs as they did. Disgusting.
1
They are not being put on trains, brought to camps and shoved into ovens. Thats what the nazis did. So the answer is that Israel is not treating the palestinians in the territories the way the nazis treated the jews.
1
The word 'palestine' itself is a colonial name. So try again.
1
Only one person hit some of it on the head. The land was occupied by Jordan before Israel won it in a defensive war. The Palestinians are just Arabs who lived in Jordan. (Moved into Jewish homes after they were kicked out in 48 by Jordan). Then Israel won that land back in a defensive war. It's Israeli land, they just didn't kick the Arabs back out but let them stay. Now those Arabs call themselves Palestinians and claim it was always theirs. Their leadership has refused the state Israel has offered them on 5 occasions. It's Israeli land. They let the now called Palestinians live there. There is no theft.
