@alibenabdessalem3654 Gaza wasn't occupied. Israel pulled out completely in 2006. All people, all soldiers.
🤔
Also the violence began before the occupation started. Regarding modern Palestinian leadership, have a look at the PLOs original charter. Written in 1964, 3 years before Israel occupied the Arabs of Jordan and Egypt.
Also, lets talk about whose fault was the occupation?
Israel got stuck with it when Egypt and Jordan refused to repatriate these people following the war they started in 67.
Jordan was also offered Judea for peace but refused.
No other Arab country offered to take them, then or since.
Egypt won't even open the border now as these people have a huge crisis.
They already had to deal with the Muslim brotherhood, of which Hamas is an offshoot. They want no part of it.
When Jordan occupied Judea they kicked all the Jews out.
Israel let everyone stay when they took it back.
They opened the borders in 67 and the people mixed and got along well. It remained this way for 30 years.
But their leadership (installed by the Soviets in 1964 for this purpose) was continuously violent.
After 30 years, Israel finally shut its borders when another round of violence killed 1000 Israelis.
That was the thanks Israel got for withdrawing from Judea/west bank in accordance with Oslo.
Israel offered them their own state 4 separate times.
Any one of which would have solved the occupation.
Egypt and Jordan never did when they occupied them. And they never asked. This was another Arafat gambit.
Any honest acceptance of a state with a legitimate intention of peace would have ended their occupation.
The answer was always no.
And the violence never stopped escalating.
No solution permitted, and no end to the violence. Just endless increasing pressure.
Again the Soviets installed their leadership and stoked jihad for this reason, for its own purposes. This was never given a chance to work.
The Palestinians have been screwed and used as a football by the Arab league and their Soviet backers the whole time for their own interests.
It's hurt Palestinians the most, of course.
When Arafat died, 'his people' were by then stateless, internally divided, isolated, cut off from israel and the employment and social inclusion they'd previously enjoyed, were resultingly impoverished, and were deeply radicalized and indoctrinated.
Arafat died a hero to them, with a Nobel prize in his name and a billion dollars of their stolen money in his bank accounts while they suffered the poverty and hopeless isolation brought about by the violence he endlessly instigated. Such has been their indoctrination.
This was done to BOTH the Palestinians and the Israelis, on purpose and as the result of large, decades long, state backed Soviet effort.
Israel's done all it can for the Palestinians. There was no way this could be avoided unless someone could have done something to counter the Soviets back from 1964 when this started.
Not Israel's fault.
And, if you read the charters of Hamas as with the PLO, it never mattered what Israel did or didn't do.
Just like Ayaan Hirsi Ali says about 9/11- US foreign policy has nothing to do with it. Whether they made mistakes or not. It's religious in nature and it was always going to happen.
And it will happen again and again if given the chance.
Both toward Israel and the entire west.
