  81.  @Dragondw11  a permanent ceasefire? Lol. For Israel only. They said over and over that they would do October 7 again and again until all the Israelis and all the Jews were dead. Permanent ceasefire leaves them in power. No deal. The PA currently pays people to kill Israelis. Mahmoud Abbas was like Arafat a Soviet Asset. His PhD dissertation at a Soviet university was about the Holocaust being fake. Three months ago I listened to him blame the Holocaust on the Jews. In Arabic the PA talks of a two state solution as a stepping stone to destroy Israel. And they sponsor the same radicalization in culture and children's education that Hamas does. If they ran a state it would be no time before it declared war on Israel. The Arabs now calling themselves Palestinians have been so deeply radicalized they are not suitable partners for peace. That is why no Arab state would take any of them in btw, they know the deal very well and don't want any part of it. Israel's geography makes it very tough to defend militarily. You can see Tel Aviv from the edge of Judea, its only 9 km apart. A Palestinian state with its own army is like letting Isis or the Taliban arm themselves well and then giving them a home inside Bagram air force base during the war on Afghanistan- it's suicide. Israel offered them a state on 4 occasions. They also pulled out of Gaza and gave it to them fully. We can clearly see what they did with it. No they should not have a state. The two state solution exists already by the way- Jordan occupies the east side of Mandate Palestine. This was a suprise to the Jews who'd been promised the whole thing. So Jordan and Israel- two states on mandate Palestine. Another Arab state (another aparthied state where Jews or Christians are killed or even more oppressed than the Muslims who are run by a theocratic dictator and Sharia law, ie the PA or Hamas) = 3 state solution. If the Palestinians could ever truly renounce violence and accept Israel in peace I would want them to have a state. But then if they could do that, they'd have had a state since 47 like Israel. (Or since 37 with the peel commission, or since Israel offered them one any of those 4 times. Or Gaza would now be a paradise and there wouldn't be violence coming from Judea/west bank every single day) If they could somehow get there I'd love for them to have a state.

  110.  @babbalonian2 really? Why dont you look for interviews with their leaders on Arabic tv channels? Or listen to them speak to their own at rallies and meetings? This isn't even the start of it. All of the Islamist jihadi groups that proliferate across two continents use similarly ruthless tactics. Al Shabab, Boko Haram, Al queda, etc etc. Not just Hamas. They do this here because people fall for it so it works for them. If they got no support for doing it from people like you many Palestinian lives would be saved. So the question is, could people like you hate Jews less if it meant saving palestinian lives? Most can't seem to. Maybe you're different, we'll see. Since you dont trust Jews at all, maybe it will help if you recognized that by far the most people dying from ruthless jihadi tactics like these are other Arabs and Muslims. Because these exact same types of groups proliferate all across the mid East and Africa, where Arabs and Muslims mostly are. So the people most affected by similar Islamist barbarity are Muslims and Arabs, also Christians, kurds, Yazidi, and others. (Though many thousands of Jews have been killed by these people, the numbers are smaller simply because there are very few Jews in existence and because those in the Mid East are now concentrated in a place that can defend itself. Make no mistake, they'd all be dead otherwise as the charters of Hamas, Al queda, and all the others point out. I know you'd dig that...) But sorry to tell you, the people suffering by far the most for the strategies and tactics of these medieval religious terror groups across two continents are Arabs and Muslims themselves. Maybe that can get you past your bigotry and allow you to open your eyes.

  111.  @DrunkenGuitarGuy yeah, Bashar Assad kills 1000000 of his own people. 5 to 10k of which were Palestinians he just bombed to death for nothing. Palestinian "leadership" had very little to say about it and offered no help. Iran tears apart Yemen, millions killed and displaced. Iran's proxy hezbollah turns Lebanon into a failed state. Iran's own people are tortured for dissent, it's women are stoned to death for 'morality crimes' like holding hands on the beach out of wedlock. And have been since 1979. Libyas foreign minister sits down with Israel counterpart to discuss opening conversations for peace. Riots break out across Libya, killing many. The foreign minister had to flee to Turkey to save her life. And not only was little said about any of this across the mid East, but nothing at all has been said in the west either. Nothing. For decades, nothing. Set aside the million others killed, but the bombing of thousands of Palestinians for nothing, despite them being the fetishized cause for so many in the west- still not a peep from anyone. No union leaders, student groups marching, no virtue signalling politicians, actors and community leaders protesting, much less calling for the destruction of Syria. No calls of war crimes every other word though that clearly was. Nope. Nothing. Tumbleweeds, Not a word. The clowns and useful idiots once again out screaming and yelling for Israel's destruction are all that ever really happens in the west, regardless of the topic. And irrespective of the truth and facts about that actual situation, historically or otherwise. Lots of shame to go around alright. Lots and lots of shame.

  178.  @lordsmobile8769  they aren't occupiers. I was being kind. This is their homeland. The west bank was illegally occupied by Jordan in 48. They ethnically cleansed it of Jews. Jordan has refused to repatriate those in the Jordan Valley, Judea and Samaria after 67, as have the 20+ other Arab nations. And 50+ Muslim ones. Leaving it to Israel to manage, needlessly. When Israel reclaimed it in 67 they not only kindly let its inhabitants stay but kept the borders open and allowed integration into Israel. That was by far the best time the Palestinians had ever had. Only after the second Antifada instigated by Arafat did Israel finally shut its borders. After decades of suicide bombs in its cities by what had been a small number of radicals sponsored by their leadership (themselves sponsored by the Soviet Union. Read 'russian footprints' by General Ion Pacepa of the former Soviet Union about how they used Arafat and the Palestinians for their own purposes, leading to the disaster we now see.) the colossal waves of violence on the Eve of two state peace was the last straw for Israel. As is most reasonable. Now after decades of isolation and radicalization it's much much worse than its ever been. Iran is now long the cause of it. Not clear how to move forward. But occupiers? Only if the situation isn't understood properly can it be said that way. If Israel hadn't been so kind in 67, as Jordan hadn't been previously, there would be nobody there to occupy. And the land taken in 67 was Israel's to begin with before Jordans illegal annexation and occupation in 48. Occupiers? Not really, except as it plays out.
