Ryan good quick synopsis.
Keep in mind gaza and judea (the'west bank'- as in the west bank of jordan, following their illegal capture and annexation of it in 48) were occupied by Egypt and Jordan until the second war in 67. Neither Egypt nor Jordan offered them a state and palestnian nationalism wasnt yet a thing- it was created by Arafat at the bequest and interest of the Soviet Union who groomed him for the purpose, begining in 1964.
He launched rockets into Israel and generally acted terribly from Jordan even though no palestiniam arabs were there. (Apart from 'Israeli Arabs' who make up 1/5 the population of Israel). Arafat was kicked out of Jordan in 72 after attempting to assasinate King Hussein.
The borders with Israel were completely open from 67 onward and 'palestinians' mixed freely with Israelis inside Israel. Israel closed the borders 40 years later and built the wall following an Arafat initiated bloodbath that killed 1000 Israelis. Arafat having yet again just refused the state Israel offered the palestinians.
The palestinian 'refugees' are the only refugees on the planet to have inherited the designation 3 and 4 generations from the event.
This is a political manipulation designed to keep them fighting and lend their story legitimacy, but its a fraud as the refugee system does not work that way- after korea there were 3.1 million refugees, and 10 years later none, as they were settled into places they fled. That is the way its always done, except in this case, and it harms only the Palestinians themselves, because holding onto this prevents them from settling and move forward. As is the normal standard.
Like most things about the generally accepted Palestinian narrative, it is a manipulation designed to serve the interests of those pulling the strings- namely the Soviet Union, the Arab League, and Iran.
Read "russian footprints" by defected Soviet General Ion Mihai Pacepa, who had a direct hand in the manipulation of the Palestinian people through Arafat as well as several other Arab nations tied to the Soviet sphere of influence.
Its 7 pages long, and you can find it in 'the national review'.
Thanks as ever Ryan.

Dr. Saad, i understand completely. I feel exactly the same. I dont have a following but spend hours every day commenting about similar issues- the rapists, global islamism, israel, wokism, etc. And im totally burned out. Im trying to hold back an avalanche with a plastic spoon. But if i stop, thats one less spoonful against the avalanche and our entire society hangs in the balance. I really do understand.
I just want to thank you for all your hard work. It DOESNT go unnoticed and it DOES inspire others to keep fighting.
I will add, i do think its hopeless. I think the west is on borrowed time, and communist backed islamists will preside over it in the not distant future. Thats how i see it most likely going.
But
What we have is the fight against it whatever the chances- the battle is worth waging even if we lose.
And
This will provide meaning and purpose in the time we personally have left. Our civilization might last another two generations before the bottom falls out, maybe even more.
Enjoy the time we still have in the pocket of freedom, liberty and affluence that remains here until its taken. Remember, most human beings who ever lived never had the chance to live in such wonderful civilizations.
If true that its time is running out, enjoy it in the time you and it have left. Most likely you and i will be gone before its all over. Hopefully so. Until then be thankful for the chance to experience it and do what you can to prolong or save it. Accept this potential reality however sad, but do what you can about it, and enjoy your life, and let the rest go.
Hang in there Gaad. Its very lonely out there, but the fact is youre not alone..

1:35. This is where we increasngly are at. It was a smart gambit by Nixon and Kissinger at the time, but is failing.
I also dont suspect Nixon or anyone could have predicted the counterculture would grow into something so wildly corrosive and destructive to Western security and national interests. In my opinion Soviets/Russia have been stoking and directing it with that intention for a long time, with all the tools at their disposal. Much like similar campaigns theyre known to have been carrying out globally.
(Notice the Marxist underpinning of all the campus topics that have brought about the many suicidal ideas the west now needs to somehow (start!) grapple with.
They now extend to the media, courts, tops of corporations, heads of beaurocracy and government, childrens education, even the military.
Meanwhile Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and all satellites and proxies globally (IE Syria) are lining up across and over the table. They do not suffer the same internal fractures nor are nearly as beholden to them; we cant even yet talk about most of ours.
Its my concern the west wont recover itself to fend it all off.
Imo removing the Ayetollahs and ensuring Ukraines victory would be massive steps in the right direction, and additionally to the human rights relief in so many affected places, beginning with their own, it would yield major strategic security benefits that would keep paying out over time, to the benefit of the globe.
This would also give the west breathing space to deal with its internal issues.
Would restore security to europe, reclaim western deterrent over the axis leaders AND Jihadists worldwide, and allow the mid east peace to continue spreading and pulling toward the west.
The best moves we could make by far imo.

Preston two things.
From the river to the sea is a well known chant that rhymes in arabic as well as english.
It has a constant historical context which has always accompanied arab military efforts, namely to wipe israel off the map and 'drive the jews into the sea'. It is a deeply racist chant.
Rashuda tlaib not only knows this but lies bare faced when she pretends otherwise
THAT is why she was (correctly) censured.
And only 22 democrats is a disgrace.
Israels issue with guantares is actually that it is NOT commiting 'war crimes'. Its part of the propeganda smear by enemy arabs.
I refer you to military assessments by the High Level Military Group for details.
Finally, your review of the anti israel rallies as 'anti war' is shockingly misinformed. You can find REAMS of footage of protesters shouting 'jihad', 'from the river to the sea', 'gas the jews' , "f the jews' etc.
You can see videos of jews being beaten up and chased from these rallies.
It is not only offensive but dangerous for you to mishandle that as you did under these circumstances.
Preston ill ask you to be much more careful with your words.
You are right that no such rallies occured for ukraine.
They also didnt occur for the 3 million muslims interred in china.
Nor the millions of muslims killled or displaced in yemen.
Nor the genocide of the yasidi in the north of iraq.
Nor the war in drc which has killed 5.5 million people.
Nor the war in syria which killed 500000 to 1 million people.
Nor against assads murder during that war of 5 to 10 thousand palestinians in cold blood.
Nothng from college students. Nothing from union leaders.
Nothing from muslim groups.
Nothing from virtue signalling actors,
Nothing from politicians. Including the reprehensible rashida tlaib.
Nothing from any of these clowns about any of it.
Including after Assads cold blooded murder of 5000+ of the fetishized, suposedly beloved palestinians.
Nothing.
Preston that is why its so important for you to be very careful.
This has nothng to do with love or concern for palestinians. Or very little.
Hate for isrsel is NOT the same as love for palestinians.
They are just the current excuse. That is why its impossible to get through to people about it. That is why the facts are so wildly distorted.
That is why so many people here who really believe they are good people were out celebrating the beheading and burning to death of babies and rape of teenagers on the 7th, before israel had even stopped the attack.
Thats why you had a cornell professor publically calling the attack 'exhilerating'.
That is probaby why i get the feeling you yourself are not totally convinced of israels legitimacy, and the legitimacy of its action even now. With all due respect- just a feeling i get.
It has become dangerous for jews in the west to wear their kippas on their heads.
So many feel israel deserves the very worst. That can be done to it.
Not just mid eastern muslims raised on hate but western born middle class people.
They DONT feel that way about china. Russia. North korea. Iran. The drc. Or syria where half a million were killed in cold blood for nothing.
Only israel.
The misinformation is just that pervasive.
So please preston, please do what you can to stem the tide of this social contagion of hate.
Thank you.

Hi Ryan. I love your content but you made two big mistakes here that are lethal anti Israel propeganda footholds and need to be addressed.
1). The displacement of the nakba. Israels creation didn't result in the displacement of the nakba, it was created by the Arab armies losing the war they started. They started that war instead of accepting the state they were offered alongside Israel that the Jews had agreed to for themselves.
Also, 800k to a mil Jews were immediately expelled from a bunch of Arab nations immediately following Israel's declaration of independance. They were all absorbed by Israel.
The Arab refugees of 47 in contrast were never accepted as citizens of Jordan or Egypt who occupied them until 1967.
They are still called refugees today even though 4 generations have passed, which is unique to them alone- this is yet another political game designed to screw Israel but which ultimately destroys generation after generation of Palestinian lives.
Israel offered the Arabs (now calling themselves 'palestinians') a state, and they did so 4 times. Niether Egypt nor Jordan offered them one while occupying them.
Yassir Arafat was groomed and installed by the Soviets to create havoc between Arabs and Jews, and part of that plan was to never agree to a state but also to be endlessly violent.
The Soviets and the Arab league destroyed and weaponized the Palestinians to stick a knife into Israel and to utilize them in general for their own political interests.
The occupation by Israel was free of strictures for the first 30 years- the people mixed freely and got along well, except for Arafats constant violence.
Israel finally shut its borders after Arafat killed another 1000 people for nothing following Israel's withdrawal from much of the west bank in accordance with Oslo.
That was the end of the peace process writ large.
Israel offered them one more state in 2008 but that was rejected again.
2) There IS NO APARTHIED in Israel.
You mentioned Israel losing the information war, and then made this statement. Israel is losing the information war because people keep making statements like that. Aparthied has a specific meaning. The situation in Israel does not meet that description.
Please address this.
Arab Israelis are 20% of the population and have full status and freedoms. They are the only free Arabs in the mid East
They are Palestinans as much as are those in the disputed territories.
The Arabs in the territories are not citizens of Israel, period. As such they have no assigned rights within Israel.
Inside their territories, Gaza is (was) self governed by Hamas. Gaza was NOT occupied-, Israel removed all citizens and soldiers in 2006.
The territories are governed in area a by the PA, area b by a combination of PA and IDF.
The restriction of movement inside Israel is due to constant violence. The borders were wide open for 30 years. But the endless violence of the Palestinian leadership finally got it's way, hurting the Palestinian people who were then cut off from access to work and freedom within Israel.
If the Palestinians had ever accepted the state they were offered those borders and boundaries would still exist, as they would be two separate countries.
Finally, despite the hate rhetoric and rocket fire coming from Gaza, up till Oct 7 Israel allowed 20k Gazans to enter Israel daily to work.
(This was partly why the Intel on the kibbutzes they butchered and on nearby IDF assets was so precise- that is what the Gazans did with the access to Israel they were granted.)
There is NO aparthied, the people in question are stateless and so have no claim to rights inside Israel.
Gaza was NOT occupied- Israel pulled out completely in 2006. They were not initially blockaded either, though the borders were shut as mentioned due to violence.
The blockade from both Israel and Egypt came about when Hamas took power, for obvious reasons.
The strictures on Palestinians are due solely to their propensity for violence, not the other way around. As is evident by the borders having been open for so long despite the constant violence. It is NOT due to race, or ethnicity as 20% of Israel shares these with the people in question.
This was done TO them AND to Israel BOTH, by the Soviets and the Arab league over the course of decades.
But there is no aparthied, this is technically NOT TRUE. Please fix these mistakes Ryan.
Thank you for your content and all you do.

@shaynemorten2253
Ok, listen, if you are actually interested in learning something about this, read the following essay.
"Russian Footprints"
In "the national review".
It's written by a Soviet blok general who was himself directly involved in decades long state sponsored campaigns to destroy the peace between Arabs and Jews for Soviet interests.
He defected in 1978 and his testimony was essential to the case that had Nicolai Ceaucescu deposed and shot.
He spent the rest of his life writing about what was done to try to wake the world up.
It's only seven pages long, it's a good start.
The Soviets groomed and installed Arafat in 1964 to do their bidding.
Violence from his leadership toward Israel began then, which was three years before there was an Israeli occupation.
If you read the original charter of the PLO you'll see it very much resembles that of Hamas.
(And that of Hizbollah. And probably also Boko Haram in Nigeria, Al Shabab in Somalia, Isis in Syria and Iraq, etc. Islamist jihadis consistenty tend toward the same themes, as well as barbaric, midieval violence and cruelty.
He was awful to Arabs too, violent and lawless, finally getting kicked out of Jordan in 1972 after attempting to assassinate King Hussein.
He did the same garbage when he arrived in Lebanon until Israel kicked him out in 1982.
The situation facing Palestinians and Israelis was manufactured by the Soviets for their own reasons.
The borders were wide open for 30 years and Israelis and Palestinians mixed freely and got along fine, except for constant violence from their leadership, which gradually escalated no matter what Israel did.
Initially it was just arafat and a small number of crazies, but over time under his authority the people became more and more radicalized.
Israel finally shut the borders after another 1000 Israelis died, after they'd withdrawn from the west bank in accordance with Oslo.
The Palestinians were subsequently cut off from Israel and this meant much less work for them and the beginning of poverty. Following their leaders call to violence hurt them the most.
Their leader was a Soviet asset, doing the bidding of the Soviets.
This was all done to both the Israelis and Palestinians, it was manufactured, and it wasn't necessary.
The Palestinians suffer it more than anyone and now after 6 decades of jihadist rule and indoctrination they are doing it to themselves
Arafat did more to destroy peace in the mideast then any other man.
When he died "his people" were stateless, isolated, internally divided, radicalized and indoctrinated toward jihad and violence, socially repressed and impoverished.
He died a hero to them with a Nobel prize to his name and a billion dollars of money stolen from the Palestinian people and the global community in his bank accounts.
That is what has happened.
Start with the essay.
"Aparthied"
20% of the Israeli population are Arabs. They are "Palestinians" too. They have full rights. They made up the last government. An Arab was the last top banker in Israel and still may be. They are doctors, lawyers, politicians and many serve in the IDF though they are not required to.
They are the only Arabs in the mid East who enjoy freedom and democracy.
Calling Israel "aparthied" is not only factually incorrect (absurdly so)
but its also deeply disrespectful to the millions of people who actually did suffer aparthied in South Africa. I'll ask you to stop doing it.
Take the time to learn whats required if you need to such that you understand the situation.
If you actually care about Palestinians you'll take the time to do it. Hating Israel isn't the same as caring for Palestinians. And it only makes it worse for them by enabling the jihadists responsible for ruining it for everyone.
Start with that essay.
And really, don't waste your life hating an entire nation of people as a pastime.
It's fashionable and popular but it's not rational or warranted and it's a dead end for everybody.
Go for a bikeride or a hike. Let go of your hate.

@JabranImran They almost always target non military. There's been a shooting, ramming, stabbing of Israelis every day for the last 8 months. It never made western media.
If they were really only focussed on taking hostages as the report did specify, they'd have had loads and loads of them had they concentrated on it. Just shuttling people quickly into Gaza and coming back for more. They knew they'd have lots of time based on their (absurdly detailed and accurate) intelligence on ETA, location and composition of Israeli reaction forces.
Unless theyre report was way wrong they knew they'd be giving themselves a LOT of time in those kibbutzes with those citizens.
And it wasn't wrong, it was (absurdly) dead accurate, when I compare their plan to Israeli reports from and about their responders.
Please understand, by the time these people are 4 they are talking openly about "shooting all the Jews for Allah". They're taught they are filthy, spawns of Satan etc. The children's plays are about attacking Jewish worshippers and martyrdom. It's fucking twisted, it really is a death cult.
And you can see it in their information jihad as well. There's not an ounce, an iota, of integrity in their approach or language- anything goes if it's toward the purpose of destroying Israel.
The porn star mia khalifa was fired from playboy for supporting Hamas.
Hamas issued a statement saying "they value sex workers, are happy for her support, and support the rights of lgtbq lifestyles"
Literally. You can find it.
These people kill their own sisters and daughters if they 'dishonour' the family. They cut the genitals off of homosexual men and throw them off buildings. That's the reality. But that's the statement they issued to Mia Khalifa. It's simply a dog whistle to the western left that hates Israel so obsessively and bizarrely. (As opposed to actually caring for Palestinians. Which they don't really.)
Anything goes when it comes to killing Jews and destroying Israel for these people.
The way the talk is the way they act.
The pleasure they took in this was evident in their exuberation as they did it and filmed it.
It's fucking demented.
They gave themselves lots of time in the plan, and they didn't hustle once inside, they took their time and cast off 5000 people killed and injured while only taking 150 or so.
Hostages was one centerpoint of the plan but terrorizing everybody in Israel and enjoying every minute of it and ensuring they'd have the time to do so was not an accident.

The more the west backs away and stands down to Putin, Raisi, Xi, and all proxies, the shorter the timeline to its end.WAKE UP.
And our media- always happy to do the bidding of our enemies. Maybe you want to think about the way media is treated in Russia, Iran, China, Yemen, Hong Kong, Gaza. Maybe you dont want to keep helping them usurp the west anymore. Do it for yourselves, the way you already do everything.

@chrisd2896 so so draining this is. 2+2=4. Right? If everyone says 2+2= 5, is it so?
The facts about conditions:
Arabs made up the last Israeli government. Arabs sit on the Supreme Court. Arabs are judges, doctors, IDF officers. Therefore there is no aparthied in Israel. Period.
The people in the disputed territories are NOT Israeli citizens and so have no expectations of rights inside Israel. Any more then mexicans or Canadians have inside the United States. They are self governed, except in area b of Judea, which is shared. Judea is occupied, Gaza was not.
The border was blockaded by BOTH Egypt and Israel, for the same reasons. Before non stop violence finally led Israel to close the borders to the disputed territories, they were wide open for 30 years. People mixed freely and got along well. Violence aside. But Israel was not obligated to do that.
All of it is Israeli territory, they live on Israel's land. (Israel has offered them a state 4 times. They've refused. Egypt and Jordan did not offer them one while occupying those same lands)
Aparthied has a specific meaning. If you look up that meaning and compare it to what I've just said, you will see there is no aparthied. It doesn't matter what he says and she says. Compare the definition to the facts I just gave you and think for yourself.
The propeganda certainly has seeped in everywhere. Your post makes you unwittingly a conttributer to it.
Amnesty international is deeply politicized- They all now are. The founder of Human Rights Watch has publically disavowed his former company, because they like so many others had become infected with the same social contagion as is capturing you.
But aparthied is a specific condition with a set definition. And if you compare that definition with the information I just gave you, you will see clearly it is not so.
Its not only destructive and dangerous to slander that way, it is VERY disrespectful to the millions of people who actually did endure aparthied.
So I'll ask you to stop doing it.

@babbalonian2 really?
Why dont you look for interviews with their leaders on Arabic tv channels? Or listen to them speak to their own at rallies and meetings?
This isn't even the start of it.
All of the Islamist jihadi groups that proliferate across two continents use similarly ruthless tactics. Al Shabab, Boko Haram, Al queda, etc etc. Not just Hamas.
They do this here because people fall for it so it works for them. If they got no support for doing it from people like you many Palestinian lives would be saved.
So the question is, could people like you hate Jews less if it meant saving palestinian lives? Most can't seem to. Maybe you're different, we'll see.
Since you dont trust Jews at all, maybe it will help if you recognized that by far the most people dying from ruthless jihadi tactics like these are other Arabs and Muslims.
Because these exact same types of groups proliferate all across the mid East and Africa, where Arabs and Muslims mostly are.
So the people most affected by similar Islamist barbarity are Muslims and Arabs, also Christians, kurds, Yazidi, and others.
(Though many thousands of Jews have been killed by these people, the numbers are smaller simply because there are very few Jews in existence and because those in the Mid East are now concentrated in a place that can defend itself.
Make no mistake, they'd all be dead otherwise as the charters of Hamas, Al queda, and all the others point out. I know you'd dig that...)
But sorry to tell you, the people suffering by far the most for the strategies and tactics of these medieval religious terror groups across two continents are Arabs and Muslims themselves.
Maybe that can get you past your bigotry and allow you to open your eyes.

@DrunkenGuitarGuy yeah, Bashar Assad kills 1000000 of his own people. 5 to 10k of which were Palestinians he just bombed to death for nothing.
Palestinian "leadership" had very little to say about it and offered no help.
Iran tears apart Yemen, millions killed and displaced.
Iran's proxy hezbollah turns Lebanon into a failed state.
Iran's own people are tortured for dissent, it's women are stoned to death for 'morality crimes' like holding hands on the beach out of wedlock. And have been since 1979.
Libyas foreign minister sits down with Israel counterpart to discuss opening conversations for peace. Riots break out across Libya, killing many. The foreign minister had to flee to Turkey to save her life.
And not only was little said about any of this across the mid East, but nothing at all has been said in the west either. Nothing. For decades, nothing.
Set aside the million others killed, but the bombing of thousands of Palestinians for nothing, despite them being the fetishized cause for so many in the west- still not a peep from anyone.
No union leaders, student groups marching, no virtue signalling politicians, actors and community leaders protesting, much less calling for the destruction of Syria. No calls of war crimes every other word though that clearly was.
Nope. Nothing. Tumbleweeds, Not a word.
The clowns and useful idiots once again out screaming and yelling for Israel's destruction are all that ever really happens in the west, regardless of the topic. And irrespective of the truth and facts about that actual situation, historically or otherwise.
Lots of shame to go around alright. Lots and lots of shame.

@sidritkurti1173 the hate on the Arab/Muslim side is religious and ethnic hatred and has nothing to do with Israel, or what it does and doesn't do.
If it hadn't always been this way no Arabs or Muslims would ever have been killed by Jews or Israel.
Way more Muslims, Arabs,- (also Christians, Yazidi, Kurds, others) are killed by Muslims and Arabs and no bitter, genocidal, limitless hatred exists and continues century after century. Look at Assad in Syria, just accepted back into the Arab league after killing 1000000 people in cold blood- FAR more then EVER have died in ALL Israel Arab wars combined on both sides.
There's no insane focus on him, no demented desire to kill every Syrian and destroy the country.
Israel has nothing to do with the hatred against it and never has.

@alexanderkohler6439 Pacepas defection brought about testimony that was critical to the trial and removal of Nicolai Caucescu. Analysts at the CIA found Pacepas insights confirmed much of their existing information on a wide range of topics.
The Romanian Securitate worked directly with the KGB and Pacepa was both mentored by and colleagues with the likes of Yuri Andropov and Alexandr Sakharovsky, both senior figureheads of the KGB. You can confirm this yourself.
Sakhorovsky arrived at the KGB by way of the Securitate.
Public perception is a matter of culture, education and availability of accurate information. I have no idea how Germans currently perceive Red Army Faction. But noting the degree to which Marxist ideas, including radical and even violent derivatives and personalities, are revered by universities, students, unions, and the general zeitgeist where I live, this informs me that the west has long been uninterested or apathetic toward preserving the sanctity of truth and perspective within its institutions and conversations, and that this vulnerability has been massively exploited by predatory sensibilities. To the point of mass intellectual suicidality. ("Arbitrary math", as a response to "racism" of mathematics, for example)
Germany has not been immune to this. So I would keep that in mind while considering the general perceptions of Germans, as with any other western society.

@takkarwenja5982 first: do you ask this about any other ally? If not, what's going on with you?
Second, many documents are available from independent analysts who assess exactly that.
They conclude that the relationship with Israel is an exceptionally good deal for the USA.
Among the benefits-
A western ally and placeholder in the hostile and Russia and Iran centric middle east.
A stable, thriving first world western democracy in a sea of repressive, authoritarian 7th century theocratic dictatorships.
Israel offers the US access to it's first class intelligence from the region.
It allows large amounts of American munitions to be stored safely- it's the safest place in the mid east by far.
It offers first class development on us weapons in theatre, and provides the US access to all its findings and improvements.
(Israel is barred from producing some weapons through non compete clauses in the aid packages it gets. It is forced to spend 75% of its aid on us weapons, which is a subsidy to us weapons manufacturers. And Israel is removed from producing competing weapons in some cases. However it is heavily invested in developing and improving these systems and offers the US access to all improvements.
It offers the US first world medical, IT, cyber, AI, Agriculture and water technology - industry leading in all cases.
It offers the US direct Intel on its world leading counter terrorism methods and technologies.
It can be seen (it is seen this way, problematicallly for Israel and not entirely accurately) as a regional us hegemon.
It does offer the US access to it's regional security capacity, so the US saves on having a carrier strike group in the area 24/7/365.
These are some of the benefits offered by the relationship with Israel.
Finally, it's a partner in values- democracy, human rights, transparent justice, capitalism, freedom. No other nation in the region is even close on these fronts...

@TransNeingerian no place is perfect. That's not the point. No place deserves to be slandered either.
In this case, the slander is so comprehensive and ubiquitous it's causing massive global upheavals. Not only does Israel not at all deserve it (some places might be said to 'deserve' that kind of derision. Israel does NOT. though you'd never know it watching ANY major news outlet or reading ANY major paper- that's how far this has gone. So it's no wonder all these people are so hateful)
But critically, no matter WHO an entire society chooses to vehemently hate, the results of that hate are VERY harmful to the entire society itself.
It may come as a surprise to you that massive slander and spreading hatred of Israel and Jews had been one part of a wider decades long Soviet strategy they invested millions of dollars in, starting in the 1960s.
The goal was to eliminate Israel, yesl, ie the influence of western democracy in the Middle East. But the main target was the UNITED STATES as its the backbone of the Western democratic civilization.
They intended their fomented Israel hate to destroy Israel, with the goal that it would ultimately weaken or destroy the United States.
They were correct. And they have been successful.
And this bozo and everyone like him is playing right into the Soviet plan.
If western media and education were doing their jobs this would not be unknown to anyone. Instead all the media and education have been caught up in it also, and so are working to advance the Soviet plan.
If you want information about some of these Soviet plans, read the books and essays of defected kgb General Ion Mihai Pacepa, who directly involved in some of those programs and wrote about them extensively after he defected.

@TransNeingerian fomenting hatred and disinformation about Israel and it's religious majority has been a key part of a complex Soviet strategy to destroy America. They spent decades and millions of dollars conducting these operations. It has been successful.
Having a nation of rabid mobs raging against a minority/common enemy is terrible for the target/victim, but look what it also does to the rest of that society. It doesnt matter who the target/victim is, your society is no longer functioning properly. Your people are no longer rational. And when it eventually spills over, the pain is massive for everybody.
Jews were selected for this by the Soviets because their demographics made them the best candidates, along with other contexts and previous histories. The Soviets are not sentimental, they'd just as well have used another group or nation as the target if it suited their purpose.
The plan is to destroy liberal democracy in the mid east, yes, but also to drive the knife right through liberal democracies around the world.
This bozo is playing right into the plan.
As now are all western media outlets, unions, universities and public schools. It is now almost impossible to find useful, accurate and fair descriptions of Israel or anything to do with it in ANY western media or academic institutions.
The rot has reached all the way to the top. And you can see the result in the people around you.
I hope we can turn it all around, restore sanity and justice, and save both Israel and the West.

@theichione1827 why don't you look into it. Do you want us to chew your food for you too?
The UN has 193 nations in it and the vast majority as a block are Muslim dictatorships within the sphere of the former Soviet Union. It operates as a democracy but has very few nations that are democracies within it. Russia is on the security Council and has a permanent veto. For example. I believe Iran sat on the human Rights Council. It's ridiculous.
And it uses Israel as a punching bag, singling it out for special treatment with a regular standing meeting. No other country is so treated.
Of 135 ish general assbly resolutions, over 1/2 are about Israel.
Of 95 ish human Rights Council resolutions, 83 are about Israel.
(I think that's correct, I'll have to check again)
Assad in Syria kills a million of his own people, many with poison gas, and got 1 resolution on one occasion. 5 million killed in the DRC, not a single resolution. China imprisons and sterilizes 3 million Muslims, not a single resolution.
Iran stones to death its own women for holding hands on the beach out of wedlock, tortures it's political rivals and their families, disappears people, jail's or kills homosexuals, sponsors state backed terrorism that upends the entire region, starts a war in Yemen that is by far the biggest recent humanitarian crisis in the mid East, sponsors Hamas, Islamic jihad and others that destroyed the Palestinians and Hizbollah which just turned Lebanon into a failed state and has 200k rockets aimed at Israel. Zero resolutions.
I'm actually not going to answer you again. You are not acting in good faith here.

@larryhall83 hi Larry. Yeah, I've had two large slaps in the face in that regard, one of them being the hatred of jews and Israel where I live/globally in combination with support for jihadists, and learning about behaviour of jihadists all around the world (the yazidi, etc). Yes I'm struggling to deal with the awareness that people aren't really very good at all, only incidentally so. It's a very hard thing to live with.
I think we are witnessing the end of the west. I hate to say this but I think they will all cast israel off in two generations or less, and shortly after will all meet their end. I cant see a way to save it, and the actions and discussions necessary to attempt it are not even permitted in discussion.
It's crazy because imo Israel is what the west needs to emulate and cooperate with if it wants to try to save itself.
It's so unjust, so unfair.
Anyway that's depressing.
I do think a number of people do support and love Israel and do understand the global threat, which you guys are up to your necks in on a daily basis.
I know Hindus in India love you guys.
Anyway, I hope you and your family are safe and I wish the very best in the coming years.
I think Trump will be a good thing for Israel so you should at least have 4 better years coming than you've had up till now.
Sorry for rambling.
All the best to you. Take good care..

@nihongotomodachi9429 you THINK you understand the hatred in their hearts.
Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, who terrorized Egypt for 100 years and has its tentacles throughout the mid east. It also has deep connections to student groups in western countries. They are responsible for the death of the Arab Spring. That is why Egypt's border to Gaza is ALSO hammered shut.
The hatred is religious. Period.
Same is with ISIS, Al queda, Boko Haram, Al Shabab, the Houthi, the Taliban, etc etc etc etc. Notice that though they ALL have special hatred for Jews, their victims are overwhelmingly other Muslims .
(Also Christians, Yazidi, Kurds, Bhai, etc. ANYONE who is an 'infidel' and who can't defend themselves. )
THAT is the reason for the hatred you witnessed on oct7.
If not for that hatred, Gaza could have been turned into a paradise. Israel left completely in 2005. They've received umpteen billions of dollars from the entire world.
And instead of paradise they turned it into an entrenched military bunker and oppressed and empoverished their own people.
Just as with the other gazillion Islamist jihadi groups that infest Africa and the mid east.
That is the truth of the situation, friend. Whether you can face it or not.

Then theres universities and k-12, and the major unions- teachers, mail, transit, government workers, etc etc etc.
For many decades now.
No wonder there are massive hate marches every week.

Its ridiculous that people can see where russia, iran, and their funded islamist groups are the scourge of the entire middle east and africa- brutal repression, human rights atrocities, sheer inhumanity and brutality in yemen, lebanon, nigeria, somalia, iraq, afghanistan, syria, all across two continents. But somehow when it comes to Israel people suddenly side with the raping, headchopping religious and ideological crazies sponsored by russia and iran.
Eberywhere else theyre evil but in Israel somehow theyre "the good guys". Its ridiculous.

@Mandems973 This is a long post. I'm exhausted already from dealing with people like you.
I'll do this quickly, not completely.
First of all "Human Rights" organizations have become tools of information war. Most of them have long been infested with the fetishized social contagion of Israel hate. The founder of Human Rights Watch himself has disavowed his own company for having succumbed to this. It's a case in point, they are all the same. Very sadly.
You go to great lengths to point out how Israel's law is 'unfair' to Palestinians without acknowledging the extent to which everything Israel ever offers them has been used as a weapon, and without recognizing that as a democracy, Israels existence is at stake.
Israel COULD do what Saddam Hussein did, for instance, which was have a brutal, authoritarian dictatorship which ruled Iraqs majority tribe with an iron fist, which would technically "preserve" Israel's Jewishness, but would sell out it's spirit.
I'm sure you can agree the 20% Arab population of Israel, who are the only free Arabs in the mid east, would prefer things be done this way.
None of them want to live under Palestinian rule.
(No elections in 16 and 20 years there)
Tell me, how many Jews live in Jenin?
How many Jews are part of the government of the PA? Or Hamas?
Or Egypt for that matter, or Syria?
You are HYPERFOCUSSED on Israel, while the children of the PA are radicalized and impoverished by their government, whose leader screws them over by teaching them that ALL of "Palestine" belongs to them. (Except Jordan of course. Nobody has a problem with Jordan, which also "occupies" "Palestine". Only Israel makes people like you turn blue in the face. Why is that?)
When Jordan occupied Judea/Samaria they never offered those people a state. They cleansed the area of Jews. They refused to repatriate the Arabs after losing the war they started, leaving it in Israel's lap. Israel has offered these people a state 4 times.
It's borders were wide open from 1967 on and Israelis and "palestinians" mixed freely and got along well.
Did you know that? Most don't.
That in fact was the best time Palestinians ever had. Per capita income rose by 1500%. 8 universities were built on the west bank, where none were before.
I can remember scenes of Palestinians sitting around Israeli dinner tables, calling their mom "Eema". That's how it often was.
What changed it was the Soviet backed violence from their asset, Yasser Arafat, and his program of radicalization.
They finally closed the borders after 30 years when another 1000 Israelis were blown to pieces.
That's what happened to the Palestinians. The Soviets/their puppet leadership. Not the Israelis.
Israel isn't perfect but it's BY FAR the most humane, civil and fair country in the region to ALL it's citizens.
EVERYBODY is trying to kill it.
The Soviets spent gazillions of dollars radicalizing the mid east against Jews and Israel, for its own strategic aims. Qatar, Iran and Russia, along with extremist groups like Muslim brotherhood, have been spending billions on western universities and media for the same purpose, which is why this hate, misinformation and irrational focus and outrage has spread.
(Keep in mind, their aim is to destroy the west. )
How much complaining did you do about Assad's barbaric murder of 500k? Including 5 -10 k Palestinians he just gunned down for nothing?
Or about his oppressive, violent rule in general?
How many posts have you made about the total evisceration of Lebanon by Iran/Hizbollah? And the horrorible suffering and injustice it causes?
How about the horrors in south Sudan? Or the DRC? (5.5 million dead and counting)
Im guessing zero. I'll be thrilled for you to prove me wrong. Just link to some of those angry outraged comments you must have made during all those years of needless human suffering at the hands of Assad, Raisi and Nosrallah.
I look forward to you proving me wrong.
I hope you don't turn out to be one of those people who write hateful diatribes about all the injustices you percieve in Israel while letting mass murder and routine oppression and torture as a matter of daily life go unmentioned, just because of tribal allegiences, or because youve got caught up in a fetishized social contagion of hate.

@happydays4302 the usual media and political response to Israel typically is a backhanded compliment, insult by omission or implied equivalency, coupled with an absolute lack of awareness of context. The fact that most people feel there is a moral equivalency between the two, and worse- that Israel is a colonial state, an 'aparthied state' and that it actually deserves this- that's the constant argument from people which suggests the media has not been successful at conveying the truths of the matter.
I certainly never heard any politician or media outlet suggesting Israel does no wrong- mostly I hear or understand the opposite -in ways direct or veiled.
I agree with you that the cost of the animosity has been huge (though very small and tame compared to the brutality and scale of myriad other conflicts around even now- Isis activity anywhere it still exists (read about the yazidi genocide and the rape and sale of its women and girls in markets, North Iraq) Assad's murder of millions of his own people, many by gas, just a few hundred km away in Syria.
5 Million killed in DRC. Widespread butchering of civilians in Yemen by Iranian backed Houthis. Massive sectarian brutality and casualties happen throughout the mideast- Murder of 100k Christians per year in the mid East and Africa. Boko Haram in Nigeria, Al Shabab in Somalia, etc etc etc - throw a dart.
All of these are far far bigger in scope and brutality than any war or action Israel has ever been a part of.
The bizarre hyperfocus on Israel is another aspect of it's unfair treatment at the hands of the media
- not just the defacto apology offered to the jihadist extremists who drive this conflict forward as with most of the other conflicts I mentioned.
Check out two things that might help:
A speech by Mosab Hassan Youssef before the UN. (On unwatch.org) he's the son of Hamas founder and he tore a strip off dictators who enable people like his father to create chaos and destroy the lives of both Palestinians and Israelis.
(It's 2 mins long)
And check out reports and interviews by the Generals of the High Level Military Group, about their analysis of the last Gaza conflict.
Like you I wish for peace for all.
For the well being of the Palestinians as much as the Israelis, it's important for people to understand the true nature of this conflict, and that can't be casually found in almost any mainstream media.
Take good care.

@Planet_Xplorer
There has ALWAYS been a Jewish presence on that land, SINCE it was their homeland.
It's also arbitrary of you to declare "3000 years" is no good but 1300 years IS. Who the hell are you?
The Arabs arrived with a conquoring, colonizing army. If you'll acknowledge that, then why do you give them a greater claim than the Jews who'd been conquored 600 years before that, and who've been in that land thousands of years before that? Why do you only recognize Arab claim to the land and not Jewish, especially as Arabs came through as a conquoring empire long after the Jews had been there?
Why not fight to give the land back to the Greeks? Or the Turks? You seem just to be picking your allegiances out of a hat.
Nobody 'claimed' anything. Jews bought their way back, buying land from the Ottomans and others. Europeans who arrived settled in Jewish areas. Nobody "stole" anything. Not Jews anyway.
Conquoring Arabs forcing people to convert to Islam by the sword during Muhammad's conquest is another matter. Why don't you talk about that?? That's REAL stealing, as in their army wins and they settle the land. Like the Turks, and the Babylonians, etc etc etc.
The Jews in early 20th century? No they didn't steal anything.
When the time came for the British to give it back to locals (which they didn't have to do) they proposed a state for each group.
The Jews accepted.
The Arabs got one "Palestinian" state already, it's called Jordan.
(Much of that had been previously promised to the Jews. Oh well. Israel has nevertheless not attempted to overrun Jordan..)
The other Arabs refused to accept the British offer and then the UN offer and chose war.
They lost. Many disbursed in the fighting, to Gaza, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. (Just 30 to *00 km away.)
So that's how it goes when you try to kill people and take their land if you lose.
100000 stayed. They became part of Israel and enjoy democracy, freedom and first world economy. They only mid east Arabs to have that, ironically.
Why are you so bent around the axles about Israel?
Only Israel I'm guessing.
Why? Its not rational..

@anchorsanvils the borders into all territories were open with Israel for 30 years. Israelis and Palestinians used to mix and get along well, except for constant violence from their leadership and what was once a small number of crazies.
Jihadist violence finally won the day.
Jihadi destruction of Israel was in the original charter of the PLO, which began in 1964- BEFORE the Israeli occupation existed.
Arafat was installed into it by the Soviets to destroy peace between them for its own interests.
So the occupation has nothing actually to do with it.
Isrselis and Palestinians are separated in the west bank.
A Jewish person would get ripped to shreds if he stumbled into those areas.
If an election were held by Palestinians up until last week, Hamas would now win. Which is why no elections were held. Hamas originally was a protest vote against Arafats corruption, but they played their hand and became the only game in town among the increasingly radicalized and indoctrinated population that resulted.
Iran is spending huge amounts of money to stir this up. Very likely they are working hard on Israel's 20% Arab population who have it very good inside Israel, to drive a wedge through its society. Violence is sharply on the rise in Israeli Arab society. I suspect Iran.
Egypt borders Gaza too - you could say the same for them. Open the borders and let them in. Let's not forget Egypt refused to repatriate Gazans after losing the war it started. And it never offered them a state either. Israel's offered them 4.
But its border is closed also, and for exactly the same reason. They have their hands full with Muslim Brotherhood of which Hamas is an offshoot.
The borders were open for 30 years till the jihadis got their way. All that surrounds Israel now is Jihadi threat.
If Israel lowered its walls and borders now every Israeli would be slaughtered. Just like it says in the founding charter of Hamas, Islamic jihad, Hizbollah, the Islamic Republic of Iran. And most other jihadi groups that are nowhere near Israel.
Hatred among regular mid eastern Muslims and Arabs toward Israel is rampant- the result of a Soviet state campaign. Jihadis take it to a whole other level- they massacre and brutalize other Arabs and Muslims if they are the wrong 'type', or if they speak against them.
Christians, yazidi, B'hai, etc are infidels of a lower grade. And Jews are the most hated of all.
100k Christians are killed per year by jihadis in the middle East and Africa.
No parades and demonstrations for them though.
But you should see what jihadis do to other Muslims. The Taliban to afghani girls and their families. Isis everywhere it's present-gang raping little girls and selling them in markets after butchering their fathers and brothers, because they're 'infidels'. al Shabab in Somalia, gang raping little girls and then stoninh them to death for being 'impure'- not virgins any more. Just total animals.
Assad bombed to death 10s of thousands of Palestinians during the civil war- on purpose- and no Muslim groups spoke out, no demonstrations, no student marches, no call for Syria to be destroyed, nothing.
What Israel does or doesn't do has nothing to do with it and never did.
They can't tolerate it's existence nor the Jews existence not only on that land but in the world entirely. For religious reasons. The occupation is just an excuse, used because westerners lap it up. If they really wanted Palestinians to prosper, they'd never have been violent enough that Israel had to close the border and keep them out.
The leaders get rich this way and also are total jihadis- they believe that shit totally. But it's destroyed it for palestinians who more and more resemble their leaders, being dominated and indoctrinated by them as they are.
And, Israel is only 'little Satan". Especially hated but only a small player.
If they ever succeed in destroying it they move full steam toward 'big satan'. You can guess what that is.
Peace can't even enter the discussion until people begin to understand that.

@kommentator9272 can you please read a few of the posts I've already made to others in this thread?
It contains information and sources that are not well known by people but should be, such as the son of a Hamas founder, and a Soviet General directly involved in huge Soviet state campaigns to create violence between Arabs and Jews, destroy peace between palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews, and to launch enormous misinformation programs throughout the mideast to create hatred for Jews and Israel.
He was directly involved in them.
The Soviets groomed and installed Arafat to destroy peace between Jews and Arabs of the region, for example. Most people don't know that. Including political leaders here and abroad, and including Israelis and Palestinians, who still consider him a hero.
That was done in 1964. The charter of the PLO was to destroy Israel, kill all the jews and build a Muslim state on the ashes, typical jihadi stuff.
There was not yet an Israeli occupation, they were still occupied by Jordan and Egypt then (who never offered them a state).
Arafat was horrible to Arabs too, as jihadis are. He raped and pillaged until Jordan finally kicked him out in 1972 after he attempted to assassinate King Hussein.
He did the same crap when he arrived in Lebanon.
See "Russian footprints" in "the national review". Only seven pages long, it's a good start. Its written by that Soviet General himself.
The narratives you've come to believe mostly are due to the propeganda war begun by the Soviets and their Arab satellites many decades ago, with the intention of destroying Israel and the USA, and to further Soviet influence in the region and the world.
The success of that campaign is obvious to anyone.
For instance,. Assad intentionally bombed 10s of thousands of Palestinians in his civil war, killing them all.
No protests, no outrage, student groups quiet, Union leaders, politicians, Palestinian activists, Muslim and Arab leaders all silent.
While we're at it he killed 500k Arabs and Muslims and no protests, no hate, no 'river to the sea'- nothing really.
5 Million dead in DRC. No protests, no outrage, no student groups, u ion leaders marching. Nothing.
This is about hatred for Israel, not love for palestinians.
People think it's the same thing but if they really cared about Palestinians theyd really make an effort to find out what the hell happened.
The same thing was done to BOTH Israelis and Palestinians by the Soviets and the Arab League.
And there is no peace possible with jihadists. Not in Gaza, not in Lebanon, not in Somalia, not in Nigeria, not in Yemen, nowhere.
The borders with Israel were wide open for 30 years and except for constant violence from Arafat and a then small number of crazies, they mixed and got along well.
They worked in Israel and so they had increasing wealth and standard of living.
But the violence and the steady indoctrination and radicalization continued. Until they got their way after killing 1000 Israelis. Israel finally shut the borders and built a wall. To keep suicide bombers out.
Do you ever wonder why the border with Egypt is also closed?
They want no part of Hamas either.
The Egyptians have their hands full with Muslim brotherhood, of which Hamas is an offshoot.
(They have deep tentacles into western Universities btw. This is global jihad that began ag s ago.)
Read the article.
Look for Mosab Hasan Youssef, son of Hamas founder.
Try to get clear of the information jihad that's designed to bury the west.
Good luc

@patrickwalker4159 The problem with the internet is that people listen to others speak and go along with what they think is either the most prevalent argument, the most effective rhetoric, or the most correct argument. There isn't real education happening here.
I'm tired from doing this. Exhausted in fact.
Israel has in fact done more to help these people than anyone else.
When you begin your search, keep that in mind.
Read this- " Russian Footprints", in 'the National Review'. It's by a Soviet General who was directly involved in Soviet sponsored Palestinian terrorism against Jews and Israel, and who was also involved in massive, state sponsored propeganda campaigns designed to get the world to hate and destroy Israel. (In order to diminish capitalist influence worldwide and to use it to get the world to hate the US)
They sponsored Jihadi radicalization, hatred and violence among Arabs (now calling themselves "Palestinians"- another Soviet idea) which is why they are now isolated from Israel, whereas the borders were wide open for 30 years, and people once mixed and got along well except for ever present violence, which was escalating no matter what Israel did.
(Thanks to the Soviets).
That's some. Sorry I can't do more.
But start there.

Missing from this has been the voice of moderate Muslims. Total silence. Despite hearing about how many there really are, not a peep can be heard from them. Muslims and Arabs suffer for jihadi violence and barbarism more than anyone else.
So it's especially disgusting to me that so many could be found celebrating the initial massacre and subsequently protesting Israel's response, while theres not a peep at all of support for those children burned alive in the name of an Islamist caliphate, simply because they were Jewish. 2 billion of you and not even a peep.
And worse still, enabling Jihadists in the lie that this is all about freedom for Palestinians when you know damn well especially given that you speak Arabic that it's not the least bit true, and that jihadi violence is itself the reason their lives are now so hard, and not the opposite.
And in so many cases lying bare faced like this to do so.
It's disgusting to its core.
To the Muslim community, especially in the west:
Now is the time.
If you can't prove willing to overcome your tribal and religious allegiances to condemn the beheading and burning alive of Jewish babies in the name of 'islam', then don't say another word about 'islamophobia', ever, and cram it with your claim of being peaceful- you've shown your hand and revealed what you're really about when the chips are down.
I hope to soon hear what's been deafeningly missing up till now, because of what it means about you and about the future for all of us together if you won't.
Disgusting. FOR SHAME.

@alibenabdessalem3654 Gaza wasn't occupied. Israel pulled out completely in 2006. All people, all soldiers.
🤔
Also the violence began before the occupation started. Regarding modern Palestinian leadership, have a look at the PLOs original charter. Written in 1964, 3 years before Israel occupied the Arabs of Jordan and Egypt.
Also, lets talk about whose fault was the occupation?
Israel got stuck with it when Egypt and Jordan refused to repatriate these people following the war they started in 67.
Jordan was also offered Judea for peace but refused.
No other Arab country offered to take them, then or since.
Egypt won't even open the border now as these people have a huge crisis.
They already had to deal with the Muslim brotherhood, of which Hamas is an offshoot. They want no part of it.
When Jordan occupied Judea they kicked all the Jews out.
Israel let everyone stay when they took it back.
They opened the borders in 67 and the people mixed and got along well. It remained this way for 30 years.
But their leadership (installed by the Soviets in 1964 for this purpose) was continuously violent.
After 30 years, Israel finally shut its borders when another round of violence killed 1000 Israelis.
That was the thanks Israel got for withdrawing from Judea/west bank in accordance with Oslo.
Israel offered them their own state 4 separate times.
Any one of which would have solved the occupation.
Egypt and Jordan never did when they occupied them. And they never asked. This was another Arafat gambit.
Any honest acceptance of a state with a legitimate intention of peace would have ended their occupation.
The answer was always no.
And the violence never stopped escalating.
No solution permitted, and no end to the violence. Just endless increasing pressure.
Again the Soviets installed their leadership and stoked jihad for this reason, for its own purposes. This was never given a chance to work.
The Palestinians have been screwed and used as a football by the Arab league and their Soviet backers the whole time for their own interests.
It's hurt Palestinians the most, of course.
When Arafat died, 'his people' were by then stateless, internally divided, isolated, cut off from israel and the employment and social inclusion they'd previously enjoyed, were resultingly impoverished, and were deeply radicalized and indoctrinated.
Arafat died a hero to them, with a Nobel prize in his name and a billion dollars of their stolen money in his bank accounts while they suffered the poverty and hopeless isolation brought about by the violence he endlessly instigated. Such has been their indoctrination.
This was done to BOTH the Palestinians and the Israelis, on purpose and as the result of large, decades long, state backed Soviet effort.
Israel's done all it can for the Palestinians. There was no way this could be avoided unless someone could have done something to counter the Soviets back from 1964 when this started.
Not Israel's fault.
And, if you read the charters of Hamas as with the PLO, it never mattered what Israel did or didn't do.
Just like Ayaan Hirsi Ali says about 9/11- US foreign policy has nothing to do with it. Whether they made mistakes or not. It's religious in nature and it was always going to happen.
And it will happen again and again if given the chance.
Both toward Israel and the entire west.

Fauxsho94 you're talking about people living in the disputed territories. These are not Israeli civilians, they have no assigned rights as Israelis, unlike their Israeli Arab counterparts who have full voting rights (the only Arabs in the mideast where that's the real deal) and all other rights afforded to other Israelis. They make up 1/5 of Israeli society and are 'Palestinian' as much as the others are.
So Israel is not an aparthied state-all its citizens are treated equally.
Regarding those in the disputed territories, the situation is not nearly as good but it's critical to recognize what's going on there.
The borders with Israel had been permanently open until the second Antifada, when 1000 Israelis died from suicide bombers. The second Antifada was launched by Arafat in the middle of the peace process when everyone thought peace was finally imminent.
Israel shut the borders then and built a wall after that to keep suicide bombers out. Most reasonably.
Arafat was an asset of the Soviets and both created the Palestinian people and destroyed them for Soviet interests. He died a very rich man. I'll link you to an article about that.
The disputed territories themselves were reaquired by Israel after 67, the 6 day war, in which 3 surrounding nations were preparing to wipe Israel off the map, but Israel won.
Jordan had illegally occupied Judea/Samaria (the West bank) since the 48 war when once again Israel was attacked by 5 armies but won. Jordan cleared all the Jews out and never did create a state for the 'palestinians'( Arabs)- there was no call for it until Arafat manufactured Palestinian nationalism in the 60s at the bequest of the Soviets and the Arab League as a method of securing concessions from and drumming up hatred toward the West.
They've been offered a state of their own on 5 occasions and their leadership has refused.
Most Palestinians today do not want peace with Israel, they want it gone and a Palestinian State built on the rubble. Hamas has this in its charter for example.
As long as terror attacks persist Israel will keep close control of the borders and checkpoints and the lives of Palestinians will be rough.
There is no other way until they choose to accept Israel and opt for a state of their own beside it, rather than instead of it. They do not want this however. The leadership has consistently refused, and conversations with people often reveal they want the whole landmass with Israel out, no compromise.
So there will not be peace it appears. Nor does Israel have many choices about how to proceed- it has an obligation to protect its people, both Jewish and Arabic.
Finally keep in mind, Jordan could have repatriated the people it occupied from 48 to 67 but chose not to.
The lives of those Arabs,, 'palestinians', was never better than it had been between 67 and 2003 ish after which the borders were closed-there was free movement and loads of work inside Israel for them, lots of interrelations with Israelis and only a small number of radicals causing problems at the insistence of the leadership. Now after isolation for 20 years and the influence of Iran that's no longer the case- radicalization has increased exponentially. The leadership battles among itself and is very hard on the people- it's a brutal culture.
It seems there's no way out.
But Israel has an obligation to protect its citizens from the terror eminating from the West bank, so the borders remain tight.
Again, these are not Israeli citizens and Israel owes them nothing, though has allowed them to stay and had tried to offer them a state on numerous occasions.
No it's not aparthied.
Stay away from Al Jazeera etc. Btw.
Israel isn't the only country they malign, Egypt, Bahrain, others have attempted to ban them for incitement. we should too.

@Love.Yah. why do you think the occupation exists?
Israel has tried everything to end it.
It offered Judea back to Jordan for peace after 67, refused.
Both Egypt and Jordan refused to repatriate those people after losing the war they started.
They never offered them a state while under their control and never offered them citizenship.
Israel offered them a state on those lands 4 separate times.
Including in 2008, which was years after 1000 Israelis died in yet another wave of Palestinian leadership incited violence, which is why the borders into Israel were closed after having been wide open for 30 years. Israel had pulled back from Judea/west bank in accordance with Oslo, and 1000 Israelis were killed as a result.
Israel unilaterally left Gaza in 2006, leaving it totally to the Palestinians. It has not been occupied since then.
Instead of building a Mediterranean paradise there they elected Hamas, who took billions of intl aid and turned Gaza into a giant military bunker, endlessly firing rockets into Israel and continuing the radicalization, indoctrination into hatred and jihad of the entire Palestinian population.
At any one of those points the occupation would have ended and the Palestinians would have had their own state.
They don't have it because that's what they chose- over and over.
It should be pointed out that the manipulation and radicalization of the Palestinian people was done intentiinally by the Soviets , who groomed and installed Yassir Arafat to do their bidding.
Arafat led violence toward israel began in 1964, three years BEFORE the Israeli occupation began.
The occupation is not the issue.
Hatred of Jews and refusal to accept a Jewish state by Islamists IS the issue.
Together with manipulation and motivation toward friction, violence and jihad by soviet state campaigns and later by Iran and Russia.

"palestine". was a province of various empires that swept through, since the jewish state that had been there was crushed by the romans in 132.
They renamed the region palestine.
There were "palestinisn jews" and "palestinian arabs" living there under the ottomans
It had no government, it was not a soveregn
Arabs arrived during mohammads conquest of 680.
They are among many whove colonized this land.
Arabs are from Arabia. Jews are from. judea. (Renamed west bank by jordan after seizing it in 48)
Arabs now calling themselves palestinians were displaced in 47 after losing the war they started, after refusing the state they were offered.
They did NOT have self determination before, during the Ottoman empire.
They were offered it for the first time by the British, who offered a state to both groups of people living there.
The jews, or jewish palestinians, said yes.
The arabs, or arab palestinians, said no. and have said no 4 times since.
Israel has offered them a state 4 times, which niether Egypt nor Jordan did when they occupied the same disputed terrirories.
They also refused to repatriate those people after Israel took those lands while defending itself from yet another multi national attack aimed at destroying it.
They left it in Israels lap as did the rest of the Arab League.
This was not an accident.
Israel let the inhabitants stay. (Jordan had kicked out all the jews when it took that land in 48. )
It opened the borders and the now -called palestinians and israelis mixed freely, and got along well.
They did so for 30 years. Albeit with increasing tension drummed up intentionally by their leadership.
Because.
The Soviets had groomed and installed an islamist jihadi at their leadership to do its own bidding, part of which was to rip them apart.
They did.
After 30 years of steady violence instigated by that leader, israel finally closed its borders after 1000 Isrselis were killed in yet another unnecessary wave of terror.
Thats why the borders are now shut. And thats why they built the wall. And thats why egypt blockades gaza as well.
(Which you fail to mention or consider, naturally.)
Arafat was awful to arabs too. Violent and disruptive, he was finally kicked out of Jordan in 72 after attempting to assasinate king hussein.
He did the same garbage in lebanon before he was kicked out by israel.
He was launching rockets and murderous incursions into israel before 67, when "his people" were occupied by jordan (who again never offered them citizenship nor their own state, as Israel tried to do)
the violence from palestinian leadership started before there was any israeli occupation.
Arafat destroyed the palestinians to serve his masters.
He died a very rich man while his people suffered for nothing.
As with Hamas.
Who for some reason "journalists" like these keep enabling no matter how many palestinian children get killed as a result.
(Not just israelis, which i know they enjoy.)
The hatred they stoke for israel with inaccuracy and bias serves only muderous, barbaric jihadis who run the show and have made everyones life hell.
Most especially their fetishized palestinians.
If they really wanted to help them, theyd knock it off.
Trumped up legitimacy isnt going to stop the violence. It only fuels it by making the price of attack lower.
Recognizing what was done to both Israelis and palestinians will actuallt help.
This requires recognizing the barbaric leadership the soviets set in place, and the fact it had nothing to do with israel or what it does or didnt do.
Do you care enough about palestinians to save the jews you hate from this too?
You cant have it both ways.
So do you actually care or dont you?

@prajwas2004 first of all, you seem to care so much the Palestinians that I'm sure you made a bunch of outraged posts when Bashar Al Assad shot 5-10k of them in cold blood for nothing. I'm very interested to see the posts you must have made about that terrible crime. Would you mind linking a few? It certainly upset me and I'm sure since you care so much you wrote a lot about that.
(Not to mention posts about the other 500k Muslims he slaughtered. Or the ones you wrote about the 250k dead in Yemen by another of Iran's proxies. Or the failed state in Lebanon at the hands of still another Iran proxy. Or the Persians themselves, routinely tortured or stoned to death for next to nothing in Iran. Please show me some of those outraged posts - I'd like to read them. Or ones about the 5.5 million people killed in DRC. Which is now starting up again. You must have written about all these since you care so much about people. Can you link to some of them please?
Unless you're one of those only outraged when it comes to "Israel". I certainly hope you aren't one of those with a fetishized hysteria about "Israel" like so many who are sick with that horrible social contagion. I hope you prove me wrong.
Now to your question.
Nobody knows how many Palestinians are dead since Hamas can't be trusted. They never reduced the figures they made up about the hospital parking lot explosion for instance, which was 500. (Abbas is still claiming it was Israel but now the death toll is "1000". Zero honesty, it's crazy). Or the 70 they killed on a flatbed to stop them from fleeing. So no one knows.
Israel suggests ~9k Hamas members are dead. It's probably accurate.
But given that Hamas purposely imbeds itself in the civilian population, dresses like them, surrounds it's leaders with civilians as "protection' and build all their weaponry in and around residences, hospitals, schools and mosques - ON PURPOSE, (which is a WAR CRIME against their own people-) hoping they'll be killed so people like yourself will get angry at Israel instead of correctly blaming the culprit-
....Given all that, I'm sure many are dead. Many more than would otherwise be.
Not nearly as many as the 500k Assad killed for NOTHING. Or the 250k dead in Yemen. Or among Yazidi in North Iraq. For example.
But many I'm sure.
Israel is the best in the world at separating civilians from combatants (based on detailed technical reports by the High-Level-Military-Group.)
So the best is being done to save civilians that can possibly be done under these circumstances.
If you have suggestions on how they can improve this performance, why not send it to them. If it's a good idea, they'll adopt it.
By the way, 75% of Palestinians polled support Hamas now and their actions on the 7th.
Innocent then? No. But civilians nonetheless, and so Israel does all it can to protect them. Maybe you could read about that with an open mind. It will help cure you of unnecessary hate it appears you have.
Why dont you focussed instead on pressuring Hamas to surrender?
That would stop the war immediately. Have you considered that?
And finally, iran- Ansah allah- 250k dead and Yemen ruled by Islamists.
Iran - hezbollah- failed state in Lebanon, terrible suffering and increasing Islamist rule.
Iran- Russia>Ukraine terrible suffering
Iran >Persia - rampant torture, repression and 7th century barbaric court punishments of its own people.
You really think Iran and Russia (and China, NK) are somehow suddenly correct when it comes to Hamas/PA?

Fomenting hatred and disinformation about Israel and it's religious majority has been a key part of a complex Soviet strategy to destroy America that began in the 1960s. They spent decades and millions of dollars conducting these operations. It has been successful.
Having a nation of hateful, rabid mobs raging against a minority/common enemy is terrible for the target/victim, but think about what it also does to the rest of that society. It doesn't matter who the target/victim is. That society is no longer functioning properly. Its people are no longer rational or behaving properly. And when it eventually spills over into violence and war, the pain and destruction is massive for everybody.
Jewish people and Israel were selected for this by the Soviets because their demographics made them the best candidates for it, along with other contexts and previous histories. Such as Islamic demographics and historic antisemitism. The Soviets are not sentimental, they'd just as well have used any other group or nation as the target if it better suited their purpose.
The goal was in part to destroy liberal democracy in the mid east, yes, but also to drive the knife right through liberal democracies around the world.
This bozo is playing right into the plan.
As now are all western media outlets, unions, universities, public schools, etc. It is now almost impossible to find ANY useful, accurate and fair descriptions of Israel or anything to do with it in ANY western media or academic institutions.
The rot has reached all the way to the top of government. And you can see the result in the people all around you.
It doesnt matter what group has been targetted. The effect is the same. The destructive effect on a society and its people is the same. And THAT was the Soviets goal. (One of them)
I hope we can turn it all around, restore sanity and justice, and save both Israel and the West. Before it's too late..
And we can start by refusing to platform people like this.

Preston. Love your content.
But again. The sources you reported from are NOT credible. Human Rights Watch for example, has been disavowed by its own founder, for having succumbed to the social contagion of Israel hate and severe bias as a result.
It is NOT credible as a source of information on this topic. (Same as Amnesty, Doctors Without Borders, etc etc. MOST unfortunately.)
Reuters news has the same affliction (ditto BBC, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, etc).
And you can imagine that someone being a professor at Yale offers ZERO assuance of their credibility.
Have a look for the recent investigation into foreign money entering western universities. Billions and billions of dollars have been funnelled from Qatar into Western universities, over the span of many years.
Youll recognize Qatar as the ally and safe haven for Hamas, and the funder of Al Jezeera, whose aim is to weaken and destabilize the west in general and Israel in particular. (Its been banned in numerous non allied african and mid eastern countries for incitement and disinformation)
This is partly to blame for the horror show we see on our campuses, in our media, and now on our streets and at the top of our corporations and goverenments.
The amount of effort being applied to foment hatred for Israel and Jews can not be overstated.
Its hard to believe so many just dont believe it, and fail to account for it.
But its intentional, and one prong of a longstanding, widespread suite of campaigns to eliminate the west. So please account for it in future and please take it seriously.
For your referrence, find this essay:
"Russian Footprints". In "The National Review".
By a defected Soviet Blok General directly involved in state campaigns such as those ive loosely described.
His testimony was essential to the trial that had Nicoloai Ceaucescu deposed and shot, bringing freedom to Romania in 1978.
He wrote about all this until his death, to try to wake the world up about what had been done.
Thanks again Preston. Keep up the good work- and please dont let yourself be an outlet for bad information. Please find and read the essay I recommended.
Take good care.

If anyone cared about these people, theyd develop the courage to recognize and call out the decades of effort to radicalize them in the service of others.
The Soviet Union, also Iran, qatar, the UN (UNRWA, +++) and others.
There was Nazi influence via Haj Amin Al Husseini and others. But the Soviets manufactured and installed Egyptian Yassir Arafat in ~64 to weaponise them and fully succeeded.
In 67 these Arabs and Israelis got along well, mostly. They moved freely in and out of each others territories and sat at each others tables.
The radicals were small in number, related to Arafat and other leaders, and violence related to them.
Gradually Arafat/Soviet sponsored violence and impact on their culture and 'education' destroyed that relationship and the Arab culture completely. Theyre now among the most radicalized, indoctrinated people on earth, completely sacrificed to the Soviet/Muslim goal of destroying Israel and the West.
Levantine Arabs are pawns and victims of all this, their lives and culture completely co opted by it. Generational suffering a result-and at this point they choose it for themselves.
This will continue until the issue and culprits are named and addressed. It will remain the case whether they succeed in destroying Israel or not.
Fixing it requires people quit deflecting blame to Israel.
But nobody really cares about these people, except to use them as vehicles for their racist Israel hate.
(Where were all these 'advocates' when Assad massacred 8000 of them, for nothing? Not a word from anyone. Not even from Abbas. Nobody really cares about them)l. Not enough to give up their blinders and hatred of Jews and Israel.
So these people will never be released from this burden to live normal happy lives.
So stupid. So cruel. So needless.
But thats the truth.

@jmave thank you for your message. I'm sorry to have launched so quickly.
If you pursue this fully and come across the correct information you will come to understand why im so touchy. But I'm sorry all the same-please forgive me.
You mention the UN and humanitarian agencies.
This is partly why.
You will have trouble believing this. I did. I only recently discovered all this, and I can barely believe it still.
: they have all long ago become partisan, politicized and outrageously anti Israel. It's the only country treated this way by them, as far as I can tell..
but it's ubiquitous and it's true, and its extremely dangerous.
The UN.
Russia has a permanent veto on the security Council..
Iran is about to become chair of the Human Rights Council.
I'm not sure how much you know about the islamic Republic of Iran but those two facts encapsulate the entire failure of the UN.
Iran sentences women to be stoned to death- that's right you read correctly- stoned to death- for 'moral crimes' such as holding hands on the beach out of wedlock. For homosexuality. And more.
Torture of political rivals- and family members of political rivals- is rampant. Also dissenters of any kind.
Another teenager just died after a beating by the morality police for not wearing her hijab correctly. I could go on for hours and not get to half of it. It's unbelievably barbaric medieval regime that oppresses the Persian people terribly.
They also export this terror, responsible for the largest humanitarian disaster in the mideast in recent history by way of their war in Yemen, fought by their Islamist jihadi proxy in the Houthis.
Who also was launching at Saudi Arabia.
They sponsor Islamist jihadi group Hizbollah who occupies Lebanon and just finished turning it into a failed state.
As well as Islamist jihadi group Hamas in Gaza who took the opportunity granted by Israel to run it as they saw fit, and turned the whole place instead into a giant military bunker with the billions given to the Palestinian people. Who became more impoverished, isolated and hateful- fed pure Jew hate and jihad from birth at school and at home- while it's leaders soak up billions in their personal bank account and live lives of luxury in Qatar.
The UN has a standing meeting only about Israel every month.
The only country so treated.
The only democracy in the entire region. Whose 20% Arab population are the only free Arabs in the middle East.
Let me break it down a bit.
China inters 1000000 Muslims into labour camps and sterilizes them.
Zero passed UN resolutions. Zero.
China paves over Hong Kong. No UN resolution. China still occupies Tibet, it's whole population living in exile. No UN resolution.
Bashar Assad kills a million of his own people in his Syrian civil war. Many by chemical weapons. Thousands of those killed were palestinians - he just bombed them. (No protests about that here btw. No student groups, no labour leaders, no virtue signaling politicians and actors marching- nothing at all. Silence. It was barely even addressed by the Palestinian 'leadership' in Mahmood abbas- he barely mentioned it at all and did nothing to assist. This should be a very large signal about what's actually happening here- what it IS, compared to what it SAYS it is. This noise and garbage happening now has nothing really to do with the Palestinians at all )
Anyway, for killing thousands of Palestinans needlessly while killing a million of his own people, one single resolution, during one year.
Iran causes a failed state in Lebanon, and sponsors a bloodbath in Yemen. Millions killed and displaced. Barbaric savagery witnessed as is typical of jihsdis.
No resolution. Not one.
It did get dinged 5 or 6 times since 06 related to its nuclear program. The language of the reporting was not nearly as caustic as that used in any of the resolutions against Israel.
Russia attacks Ukraine. Uses barbaric practices, side expanding munitions, intentional attacks on civilians, widespread torture of POWs, etc.
No resolution. Not one.
The DRC has a decades long war that's killed 5.5 million people. It's starting up again now. Rampant breaches of rules of conflict.
(Edit: there has in fact been activity at the UN about the DRC. Not nearly as much as with Israel and I'm not sure if the reports have been as bitter and devoid of fact as they are when addressing Israel. I will be reading through those resolutions and will amend my statement accordingly. Please disregard the DRC from my argument except to note that over 5 Million have died and still the UN isn't nearly as active on this file as they are about Israel. And we shall see if they are remotely as caustic and untruthful in their reporting about it. I hope not. )
But every month there's a standing meeting about Israel.
Out of 135 human Rights Council resolutions from 06 to 2016, 68 of them were about Israel. Half of them.
One to the brutal north korea, once in 2022 for its decades of eggregious and endemic human rights violations. About 20 others for its nuclear activity.
zero to South Africa , who is persecuting it's white farmers in state sponsored massacres, zero to any of the dozens of repressive Muslim dictatorships which surround Israel, with their honour killings of women, torture, imprisonment or murder of homosexuals, and dissidents, absence of personal freedoms, massive repressions of speech and behaviour, barbaric punishments meted out from their kangaroo courts. But no resolutions of any kind for any of them. (Except As mentioned , one for Assad in Syria, once, after he murdered a million of his own people. One.
But 68 out of 135 for Israel.
Whose Arab population has full representatiin in parliament, whose Arabs formed the last government, whose last top banker was an Arab. Where gays and lesbians have full protection under the law. Whose Christians are safe,
whereas 100k Christians are killed every year in the mid East and Africa by Islamists (no resolutions about that either, not for Nigeria, Burkina Faso, etc.)
In the UN general Assembly, of 97 resolutions criticizing any country in the world, 83 of them were directed at Israel. 83 of 97.
It's ridiculous. Completely ridiculous .
If you want to get a sense of it, watch col. Richard Kemp of the High Level Military Group address Navi Pillay. It's outrageous.
I have to go, j can't finish this now.
But trust me when I say - with horror- that the same is true for all the supposedly respectable human rights organizations. Amnesty international , doctors without borders , you name it .
The founder of human rights watch has disavowed his former organization. He did so for a number of reasons, but largely it was for its having succumbed to the rampant social contagion and desease of Israel hate and bias.
I wish I was making this up. But I'm not. I couldn't believe it at first but it's true.
So you won't find good information there.
I'm not sure where to point you-
Here:
1 "Russian footprints". An essay by a Soviet blok general directly involved in Soviet state campaigns to sew jihad, violence and hatred throughout the Arab world and to destroy peace with Israel for its own gain. They groomed and installed yassir Arafat to do their bidding, to weaponize the Palestinians in order to destroy Israel. He was directly involved in some of it and tangentially involved in all.
He spent his life writing about it after his defection to try to stop it.
You'll find that essay in ' the national review'
Check next
Mossssab Hassan Youssef, the son of a founder of Hamas.
He gave up everything and gravely risked his life to stop the violence and bring the truth to the world.
Start with his 2 minute speech before the UN.
SARA Idan, the former ms. Iraq.
See her speech at the UN. And look for interviews with her.
Christuan priest Father naddaf, see his speech before the UN.
Check out yoseph Haddad, an Arab Israeli former IDF.
Listen to Thomas Sowell on the topic. Also Victor Davis Hanson.
Good luck to you. I hope you find your way and become a voice of reason- because the hate and misinformation is so bad people are literally cheering the burning of babies. The zombie apocolypse truly is upon us. Good luck..
And sorry again to have reacted so quickly.
Edit: also, Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She's wonderful. Formerly a radical herself. Check out everything she says or writes.
Take good care.

@jmave They just removed another attempt to answer you.
That should tell you something about what I'm trying to say, and the sort of people who do things like that.
Think about Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, also Hamas, Hizbollah, ansa Allah, - look at the oppression and censorship, and look at the behaviour of my jihadi hackers.
That should tell you something,ie who's who.
I'll just say those sources are not at all reliable. If I say more they'll probably censor me. So have a look into it yourself.
Take care and sorry for the hard words.

The Iran- Israel war that became hot on Oct 7 is also a Soviet/Russian war. It's important for people to realize this.
The Soviets had since the 1960s been stoking islamism all around the mid east to create a Muslim army against the West, initially against Israel and the USA. Yasser Arafat was a kgb asset and central player. Together with their terribly effective decades long state propeganda campaigns, they have succeeded in fully weaponizing local Arabs ('palestinians') and Muslims of all sorts, and in selling distorted narratives to both isolate Israel and drive a wedge through western society. It's been wholly effective. (Israel is one topic of many in which Soviet bastardization has been successfully utilized to sully social discourse in the West, and to deeply sell anti Western themes to westerners. This WILL end the west on its own if we dont find a way to stop it.)
A strong prosperous Israel unified with the west has a growing movement of Arab nations interested in giving up their traditional hatred and joining forces with them-and moving together toward modernity and into the western orbit. This would bring massive continental gains in stability, individual freedoms/human rights, prosperity and global security.
If however Israel is permitted to be isolated and destroyed, the area will become a 7th century repressive theocracy and terror state, and will help drag the whole region back toward the Russian orbit. This is what Russia has been angling for since 1964, abetted since 79 by the Islamic regime in Iran, who is motivated like others by pure religious hatred.
It is critical for the west to wake up and take both Israel and Ukraine VERY seriously, and to stop ceding position and power to the Russian led, islamist infused axis that is intent on usurping and destroying Western liberal democratic civilization.
The home front battle within Western universities, Media, boardroom, politics and classrooms HAS to be addressed as a global battle front, one that has long been dangerously overrun.
We can not allow the west to fall, because the world will then only know violent oppression, suffering and poverty with no remaining alternative or counterbalance.
Thank you Ryan for all you do.

@guymontag2948 no, that was taqqiya. The mainstream media were either too lazy or to politically averse to being honest/digging into it. He was an Islamist, who was covering his true feelings with opposing posts. However he was simultaneously involved with his true feelings in a more hidden way, and was drawing out the ex Muslim community in Germany using his cover and then threatening and intimidating them. The mainstream media either couldn't be bothered to look deeper or otherwise refused to follow those threads and report on it. I'm not anti islam by the way, just very aware of the global history of its threat, and also the decades of intentional directed incitement by the Soviet Union for the purpose of destroying and usurping the west. (A central thrust of that effort was to directly afflict the Levantine Arabs to directly destroy all hope of their peace and coexistence with Israel- all for the agenda of the Soviet Union. (According to a defected KGB General directly involved in these programs, and who had a personal relationship with their key asset, Yassir Arafat. This is only one vector of a multi faceted, decades long set of state programs designed to accomplish this goal. As is typical for Soviet operations, the people utilized are expendable and treated as cannon fodder, which we see more directly in Russias treatment of its own soldiers in their campaign in Ukraine. )
