I do believe we can redesign our cities so that we can not be mass-consuming energy in the traditional sense but use old methods of building like w/cob and recycled materials and not have to even use A/C and heating to heat or cool our homes even in places like where I live, Las Vegas. We have to build smarter and stop the wastefulness. We can have our own organic gardens and trade food too. I just don't see people waking up to these solutions and doing them now like we need to in order to save our future. I see no point in having children these days w/such a bleak outlook.
