  1. WTF?! Fuck them for sayin that. A child can do whatever they want on their lunch. If I ever had kids I'd never ever put them thru the public school system. I know it held me back and I was in the advanced classes.

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get why The Great Gatsby is considered a classic. They should never make students reread a book they already did as long as they can still demonstrate in however many years later it is that they're giving them the book again to read, that they understood it enough already. I wish I had read even more than I did in school and now. I'm trying to get back in to reading, but all I seem to do is collect good books but never read them, haha. I'm trying again though. Listening to someone like you makes me want to try myself intellectually again though. I agree w/getting the federal govt out of our education too as they just fuck up everything they touch and waste money.
