@godspeed6991 Your arguments still don't justify doing the act at all when it's totally unnecessary. Styx is right here, it's violating the non aggression principle, same as it does when it's done to females. It's our bodies, we should have a say in if pieces are cut off or not when it's not life threatening.

@jukesngambits I don't think it's random to say once you can breathe on your own you're your own life form and a full human. Sure, you can point to the handicapped or otherwise medically disabled/old people etc., but the point is they HAVE been living this whole time and they in most cases can breathe and think on their own. There IS a difference. Yes, it gets muddy when the fetus is close to the due date and I'd never advocate late term abortion, but it still should be the mother's choice in the beginning months because it is something that is living like a parasite off of you. Ideally, yes, I wish every pregnancy was a joy and none were accidents due to poor decision making, but the reality is many people out there should not be reproducing, and I'd rather they make the wiser decision of terminating or preventing a life that will just be riddled with suffering from the get go and not have a promising future for the young one than to have it at all. There aren't enough good parents out there sadly. Many still believe spanking is an appropriate form of discipline when the science shows otherwise.
