  2. What about the massive amounts of earthquakes caused by fracking, especially evident in places like Oklahoma which never had earthquakes before they started fracking the hell out of it?? It seems like a dangerous and inefficient way to get energy because many times it's been shown to leak into local environments and waterways, thus polluting the local water sources. So how does that help anyone? That's why people are protesting the ND pipeline too, because the company constructing it has a record of many irresponsible leaks that I would think we'd know how to avoid by now, and these oil companies don't take any real responsibility for the spills they create and can never get the environment back to how it was before them. EDIT: After listening to your full talk, I see where you're coming from and do agree that we should try to produce all of our energy at home so we're not funding terrorist harboring countries abroad for sure, but I feel we already have the answers for renewable energy but the gas, coal and oil companies have been blocking it from being used as they want to have the monopoly over energy. That's the part the concerns me when it comes to government getting involved etc. I know govt already gives them subsidies which I don't understand when they make so much profits every year, but I also know the federal govt has tried to invest in green energies too but i guess they weren't proven companies that Obama invested in as I heard those flopped. I'm assuming you don't think free energy, or zero point energy, is a real thing? I think it might be and if so, that would explain why we don't have it now because then energy would be free to use and the companies profiting now don't ever want that. That's why they killed Tesla in the first place, cuz he proved we could harness energy for free, as much as we want, any time and that threatened them.
