haha, that would be a great idea to start a campaign for him there. Just have a random statue show up in the middle of the night so no one saw when it was put there and it's him w/the peace fingers and glasses and leather jacket w/coffee mug and spoon. Start with an air of mystery to get people talking and then slowly give out info and other clues...

@filminginportland1654 Yep, w/you on that one too. Not sure why so many conservatives/libertarians push back on that when we need to do something to discourage the use of so much disposable plastic. Showing the real price of it helps. Just like we need to stop all big ag meat and dairy industry subsidies so people understand how much resources that industry takes and the true cost of it when it's unnecessary for us. Although after reading DooxTrebucket's comment, I see the issue there that they shouldn't blow paper bags way out of control, but still reusable is best to be encouraged because paper often gets put into landfills that never gets to decompose either b/c they don't make the landfills like compost heaps like they should for most of the stuff that goes into our trash. Everything should be sorted and we need to get as close to a zero waste society as we can which is hard to do in a throwaway age.

@Cableguy15 I go to Target as most of them I believe nationwide have the plastic bag recycling bins in the front. That's the only place I know to for sure take them now as in Las Vegas our recyclables also say not to put plastic bags in there which is hella annoying. If they make it harder for people to recycle then many won't bother w/the extra step.
