  1. Wow a year and a half?! That's one timid cat! I have a timid, skiddish cat that I rescued from the streets, and she at least came out of the initial room I had her in within weeks, but she was owned before too. Her owner had moved away and dumped her and her sister outside so when I heard about it through a mutual friend I went and trapped them and fostered them. Her sister was more outgoing though. I tried to adopt them out but no one I could trust was interested in them, so I kept them, and they're about 8 years old now.

  2. This one seems like it was a kitten though when this started, unless it's just a really small cat. I've worked around ferals too, and usually you can't socialize them once they're past the kitten stage. but depending on that specific cat's background, maybe they were once owned before so there is some hope for them. If they've spent their whole life on the streets though, they most likely won't ever warm up to humans. I fed a colony for 5 years or so, and still some of them even though they'd meow loudly when I came up w/the food, they'd run across the street when I got close to them or their food dishes. But a couple did come up and nuzzle against me too, but I think those ones were owned before.

  3. Omg you two are amazing!! Bringing tears to my eyes! Animals need so much help! And education of humans is super important to stop the ongoing issues we see with the pet community. Thank you so much for saving Nubby and educating kids!!

  4. LOL IDK it seems more like the cat just wants to use him as a warm chair lol. But that is cute they're so comfortable w/each other.
