Same here. This was my favorite movie growing up and put me on the career path of becoming an animator (although I gave that up towards the end of my schooling), but I don't want redone woke garbage w/no originality to it.

LOL i went there after your last video on this and disliked it too. It's sad b/c The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie and helped define my childhood and made me choose the career path of animator (even though I ended up not making it my career after graduating w/an degree in it), and it made me love the ocean, but I'm so tired of them woke-fying everything. There's no reason for her to be black and what's up w/the weird divets in her forehead in the only shot we get of her face for this? Her voice is amazing, but I'm just tired of the wokeness and Disney and so much out of Hollywood not coming up w/anything new. They seem completely bankrupt of original ideas and have been for a long time since all of the original cartoon films they stole from other already written stories too.
