The homeless people in most cases chose that life and also know where to find water and have legs and arms and hands w/thumbs in order to grab things that animals do not especially when left in a tall dumpster they can't crawl out of! Think! The animals deserve our protection as they are completely defenseless! There are also predators that can eat them too that is not an issue for big humans. Again, think!

  2. We need people to watch their surroundings more for abandoned animals like this! There was another dog just this week who was left in their carrier on the side of the street and it died before anyone noticed it or cared enough to do something about it! There was some witness I guess to it that said they saw the car just stop and two people get out, leave the carrier on the side of the road then leave, but why didn't they call authorities about it then?! Especially in Vegas in the summer when it's 108-118 degrees out most days! And we need stronger animal protection laws here. Please anyone living here get involved with the Nevada Voters 4 Animals group found on FB and IG and support them and go to their events and help them do letter campaigns to the people and politicians to raise awareness about the lax laws we have here regarding animals.

Anyone living here please get involved with the Nevada Voters 4 Animals group found on FB and IG and support them by going to their events and helping them do letter campaigns to the people and politicians to raise awareness about the lax laws we have here regarding animals. It takes the whole community to pressure our local and state politicians for tougher animal cruelty laws! Please do your part to make a difference! Write to your representatives and let them know you want these to be felonies with minimum 5 year sentences if their cruelty results in the death of an animal, etc.
