@paninderbach EXACTLY !! And Sunak should have kept his mouth Shut.

@vedantt9928 Sunak when asked a straight question brought in his in-laws achievements. Admirable as they may be, irrelevant to a debate in which Sunak is bidding to be Uk next prime minister. He used subject as smoke screen to take emphasis off question put to him. Devious and manipulative.

What National hero. !! Who’s National hero ???

@bluerobin8743 defending himself against What ??

@lord.of.veracity ha ha ! You’re assumption of gullible, misguided. Your assessment of his intelligence over estimated. His financial business acumen is apparent. But it takes more than a one track pony to run a country. Frankly all the contenders are lacking.
1
@Imperfect.907 don’t know what you were replying to. But if it was anything to do with UK candidates for PM job,, they could get better prizes from a lucky dip bag.
1
@manub4288 part of your reply is missing. But to call a fool means your def one to recognise one
1
@sanket.solanke ha ha ! He used their background as a diversion from a question put to him inappropriately. Quite disrespectful to them .
1
@peacek6909 That is for the Public to decide. If he gets the position now , he will merely be a puppet PM.
1
@tryingmybest9819 ha ha ha ! Mud throwing as you call it , has been rife. It actually wasn’t the tax question that prompted his in-laws rant. It was the issue of his green card.
1
@tryingmybest9819 The question put to him was two part , wife’s tax status and his holding of green card. He addressed wife’s tax very briefly which left the card. But in a heartbeat he brought in his in-laws. The person conducting the debate had no chance of regaining control, going back to the subject of card. He wasn’t far short of talking at the speed of light. But that is precisely what he does when he takes money from the most needy. Then when he gives some back as a grand gesture , he hasn’t actually returned all he has taken. He may be an excellent finances dealer, but he uses slight of hand in dealing with the most needy of the people.

@yvonnedias2043 IRS is American.

@peacek6909 Mmm ! Interesting and somewhat lacking, referring to your reply. Race and ‘Like’ completely out of place. Surely to like or dislike, you have to have met a person to make an informed decision. Race irrelevant. He maybe the man for recouping money for the treasury but not a man for the people. He arrogantly states that he saved businesses during furlough thereby saving people’s jobs. That is not completely true. He threw money like confetti , for example, approx £8 billion to airlines and look at the state of them now. Small business fell from lack of support. He has an ill informed view of the working class and appears to be in complete denial that their dire needs should be addressed before all else. Yes the economy is of immense importance, yet he appears determined to ignore the fact that he needs the people to be financially stable to enable him to financially stabilise the country.
1
@peacek6909 yes and in some countries it could be classed as a crime against humanity and be thankful if we are not in those countries. But when the person vying to lead a country is willing to play roulette with the lives of the people and children in favour of the countries financial standing, is beyond belief.
1
@peacek6909 all due respect I would rather not remember that. When people die from self neglect it is sad and can be difficult to understand. When people may die from malnutrition and hyperthermia and the country is one of the G7 group, proud of it’s financial status, is that compatible to Gods will.
1
@UCvv6tnqHSFNQABfrf3xI5Gg Do get it right. My reference to relevant was , Sunak is vying to gain PM status. His in-laws are irrelevant. If he wins they won’t be sitting in his cabinet. His wife has altered her tax status, not given up her citizenship.
1
@vedantt9928 Don’t know where you get your information, but it’s all over the place. She has said she may well want to go back to India to be with her parents eventually. She also said, she changed her tax status to save her husband’s embarrassment. What opinions of her parents some people may have is completely irrelevant to UK Politics.
1
@vedantt9928 ha ha ha !! You are I’ll informed. Or residing on a different planet.

👏👏👏

@jayakishore3032 criticism was due to tax status , hence the question. ‘ his parents are surgeons’ are you sure. ?
1
Interesting comment. ‘ rishi ‘ is new addition. Was he attempting to curry favour?
1
@jayakishore3032 He maintains his father is NHS GP.
1
@jayakishore3032 supposedly she changed her tax status after uk media picked up on it.
1
@jayakishore3032 in uk pensioners are taxed on amount of pension they receive. So if they have private pensions on top of state pension they can get taxed. Don’t know the applicable amount that triggers the tax. But bottom line, pay income tax all your working life, retire and pay more tax. So that may have been some cause of objection towards Sunak’s wife.
