@lewisknight7722 Shifting blame is something government relies on . Council/Borough rely on government grants. The contradiction is, Braverman stated she has secured 300 ? Extra hotels to accommodate illegals , over which local governments seem to have no control. Our people applying for Social housing are subject to a gruelling application process. Albeit they are homeless, over crowded, evicted from private accommodation and so on. Theoretically Local governments are required to have empty properties as emergency stock, farcical for years. Council’s ship homeless out of London to the North away from their families because it’s cheaper. Those in temporary housing often appalling conditions are all but deserted , a subject the media has picked up on in a number of London areas. From Council to Housing Association if the properties aren’t built our own aren’t housed.

@robertw5052 Actually container project was undertaken in our country. As was Chinese style build, Very small apartment’s with no room to swing a cat. Have no idea as to what became of those projects.
