Too bad they have problems doing it in their country. Solving others but not themselves.

@earli649 I thought it's the other way around --- Chinese "taking other countries' job"?
8
Stereotype and over generalization. This action is motivated by anti-Chinese propaganda.
4
They're working in HK. What's so funny? The suspicious aspect of this "clean-up" is that it's Co-founder is a foreigner and she's the only one facing the media?
3
@14_ocbashandycatherine53 Really? Then why are they so dumb to accept it?? They could've been working in Macao, Malaysia, Taiwan or elsewhere!
2
Give an example of HK gov not treating Filipinos fairly.
2
Over generalization. What about an Indian or Hispanic?
2
It depends. This "clean-up" was also a propaganda stunt, motivated by anti-Chinese agenda. Take note of Avelino's scripted replies about "watersports" --- Filipinos has no historical and traditional water sports. Take note too --- the foreigner Co-founder and absent of HK Chinese volunteers -- Were they not invited to participate?
2
And rightly so. Some of these Filipinos engage in misinformation of false claims against the Chinese employers and government. And are tools for anti-China propaganda.

@eli-cutestcalicokittenmast1100 I'm sure it's politically motivated. Why only focused on Filipinos and not Indonesians? Why no mention of the other Co-founder?
1
@eli-cutestcalicokittenmast1100 Both founders are politically motivated --- ulterior motives.

I dislike this video for another reason. It's a disguised anti-Chinese propaganda by SCMP.
1
blah blah man No. I just can see thru SCMP biases. Along with the scripted replies by Avelino.
1
@Fried Bananas That's a strange story. In the age of the Internet and Apps that connects to anyone and anywhere. Plus the Consulate. ---- along with NGOs including that militant Filipino group operating in HK.
1
111AAA Staffed by both whites and non-whites that has anti-Chinese agenda.
1
@achuuuooooosuu Do the Japanese know about treatments Filipina workers experienced in the Middle East?
1
Ain't HK also a significant user of these materials?
1
@tengo hambre You mean by the white "expats" community or the HK Chinese? For your information -- HK was and is, not or never a "country". P.S. Are Saipan, Guam, Hawaii, etc --- called or considered as a "country"?
1
@InfiniteFilmsBLP HK Chinese means local Chinese in HK. Whites are foreigners residing in HK which are dubbed as "expats" --- a misnomer.
1
@vibatkevin SCMP and both Avelino and the Co-founder didn't say so.
1
Digong DU30 Did you watched the video?
1
SCMP, this video remained your latest upload. When will you upload news on 6,000 pigs to be cull in HK.
